Just phoned the mobile. Spoke to his wife. Simon refused to speak. Told her that if the number calls tomorrow I will pass his full name, address and numbers to BT, trading standards and Inland Revenue for investigation. She said what's your number. I said not telling you so I know you've stopped doing it to everyone and started doing business properly. If the number DOES phone tomorrow I will follow through. Idiots.

just an update from my 24/1/11 posting.
Since registering my mobile with TPS, i've had just one call from this number, i didn't answer it but i replied with this text message>  " this number is now registered on TPS & if you call me again i will report you". It seems to have worked I havn't had any calls since then.

It looks like I've been lucky - they've only called once on my mobile & didn't leave a message. Simple rule : if I don't recovgnise the number, I don't answer

Hello there, I used to work for premium genie and I'll tell you the reasons why we call you.

1: You filled out a survey, be it phone or mail or a personal opinion poll and you ticked a box that said that you were interested in the insurance, so if you're doing a survey do not tick a box falsely or you could end up with plenty of these calls from not just this company.

2. We are not here to annoy, we are here to provide you with a quote if you didn't ask for a quote then fair enough say you're not interested and do not insult us, it's our job to help. If someone else has filled it in for you just tell them a time that is best to call back and note that the companies opening hours are Weekdays (not weekends)
11am - 7pm with an half an hour  break at 1:30pm and 10 minute breaks at 3:30pm and 5:30pm.

If you are really fed up with the calls just ask them to take you off there call list, therefore they HAVE to take your details off. and the reason for the silent calls is that each call get sent to three agents who work there if you answer too late you don't get either and hence the silent call.

Just remember that we aren't there to make you feel harassed or afraid of answering the phone. we are just doing our job and we only work with the surveys you fill out. It is not a cold call it is strictly on the ground that you have filled them out, how else could we get your information that precisely.
