I've been receiving endless calls from this number. i don't know who it is.. Can someone please advice..

It's an outbound-only number from St John's hospital, NHS Lothian

Had one call from thi number on my mobile and one on my house phone. I answered the house one. But no one answered.
Think someone said it is an NHS number.  
Why don't they answer ?

This was a call from NHS St. John's Hospital, Livingston to make a review appointment.  You can't phone back on this number - they left a mobile number to call back on.

I got a call from this today, was not St. John’s, was from equipments 01506 523335 (no. Left in message to call back) community equipment store.

This was a very welcome call from the registrar looking after my elderly uncle. Doctors are busy pople, and I guess they don't want people ringing them directly. If you get a call and have an idea of what it might be about, you could try ringing the main switchboard (01506 523000)

Has called my no. 8 times in 3 months.  Last call was answered a woman asked for someone by their first name.... not me.

I have had three missed calls from this number in the space of 10 minutes. I tried to return the call, but apparently you cannot leave a message due to data protection. Can you please help?
