a number keeps calling aint gonna answer but on caller ID it only shows 01512 anyone got any i9deas

Hi, I had a call today from 01512 090471, supposedly Universal Internet Services. He told me I had a serious problem with my computer. As I'm fully aware of these scammers, I just kept him going round in circles. Even after swearing at him, he was still insistent. I know the best thing to do is put the phone down, but I like to hear what they say and then tell them exactly what I think of them. Anoying, but satisfying after what I called him!

Oftel records show that numbers starting 0151 209 0 are allocated to TelNG Limited.    Likely to be an overseas call roting through this number to hide their real CLI.

Had a call from 01512248980 i said hello then automated voice said goodbye? Probably just childish prank but has puzzled me!

The exact same number and same thing happened to me! Freaked me out, probably just a number collector to scan for active numbers... but with a number so that people are more likely to pick up I guess??

Call.yet again 01512 telling me I have a problem with internet.Getting fed up with these calls....can’t they be stopped? I paid to have this sort of called stopped and am registered with TPS

Called saying prob with my internet told him it ok if I have prob I will phone bt. He hung up. Am with you fed up with these calls.
