Also had this number call me today, I answered it however, they said "Hello, is this Mr *******" (My Surname), I responded, but they said it again as if they hadn't heard me. I immediately dialed the number back but it said "The number you have dialed is incorrect." As of now, I tried ringing it again and it goes to a solid dial tone that eventually just cuts off.

Anybody have any idea?

Just had a call from same number, apparently iv had a car accident recently (i haven't). couldn't get the company name from them though!

Been phoned twice re an accident I had on may, I didn't though! Then asked If it was any other Fam member then hung up when said no

Regular calls from this number. I never answer them but at the same time as these calls started, I was receiving a number of text msgs about claiming for an accident I had previously had. ALthough I had been in no accident.

This is the number used by Direct Assist also know as Direct Legal Assist and Direct Link Marketing

They are all scam companies headed up by Darren Bullough

Regarding the above comment accusing me of being involved in 'heading scam companies'

-not only is this untrue, and completely fabricated by a jealous and bitter ex employee. It is merely a smokescreen to cover up and divert blame from the fraudulent activities of this unpleasant little individual.

Please all feel free to check our website www.directassist.info - I'm sure anyone with half of an education would soon realise we are a very legitimate and real company, who work alongside similar real genuine companies to wipe these kind of scammers out.
I would like to add that the truth always comes out in the end, and watch this space for the real scammers to be outed and brought to justice very soon. There are MANY governing bodies watching your every move. Your illegal activities will soon be at an end, and you'll be back to where you came from before we were stupid enough to employ you and of course be ripped off by you like all your other ex employees. The company telephoned me today (17/09/2012) to tell me that I was involved in a no-fault RTA on 25th April and that I could claim compensation.  The company, "UK Legal Services", was represented by a girl called Noami.  She knew my name and my car registration number.  When asked how she had received the information I was told that it had come from the MInistry of Justice.  The call was ended by Naomi whn I asked her if she knew who my insurers are.

Needless to say, I have not been involved in an accident.

Earlier in the morning I recenved a telephone call from 08448541870.  The company was "Legal and something other.  They also had my name and registration number.  They referred to a no-fault accident on 27th June.  They told me that they had received information from various brokers but were unwilling to be more specific.  After informing them that I had not been involved in an accident I was told that my car may have been broken in to or possibly I had received a parking ticket.  Neither case is true.  When I asked for further clarification I was told that the system was becoming unstable and the call was ended by an electronic bleep.

called from the same number, cannot return the call, ambulance chasers, wanting you to make a claim on third parties on road traffic accidents.  As soon as I can find the company I will file a complaint with OFCOM, for harassment.

Just had a call from above, did not give them chance to go into their routine !!
I said I wasn't interested in buying anything, claiming PPI or claiming for an accident I hadn't had, but as the number they called was a Police Station could I have their details to ring back, they rang off, I wonder why ?

Had a car accident 2010 broke my neck, Im totally innocent party, other side admitted careless driving just had a phone call from these asking for the other party as the incident was my fault and they want to claim against me ? Ive had nearly 3 years of hell, my papers are now in court and Im stressed and in pain all night. Tell this to these idiot's and they swear at you put the phone down and the number they rang from I cant get back to them ??? just had enough now !

I also have loads of calls from this number and other accident firms  asking if I had been in a accident . I had but that was over a year ago and its all sorted now so please stop calling me. Also these people whom have just phoned do not speak they just put the phone down

Didn't answer the call, as I didn't recognise the number. Looked up before calling back. Glad I did, now on my TrueCall Block list. The NEXT time they call, they will hear unobtainable sound. Usually works at getting me off distribution lists. The TrueCall unit cost me around £100, but I was able disconnect several other premium services. I saved the cost of the unit within 12 months. Now, I only get these spammers when I check the call logs.

Having neither been involved in an accident in the past year or having an unsettled case I am confused as to why this company should contact me?

Not having had the opportunity to speak to someone I am also disappointed in that every call received so far has been accompanied by a sharp short burst of music and then disconnected.

In reading this thread, and the unprofessional response from the alleged owner, I am also curious as to why there is evidence of at least 3 company names mentioned?

Perhaps if the 'owner' could provide a Companies House registered number this confusion may be cleared up as the only registered companies bearing similar names are either 'Disolved' or recorded as 'Dormant'?

Had this lot on the phone three times in the past week, demanding to speak to a family member, the do not want to take no for an answer and when asked to put their questions and queries in writing the get rather abrupt and decline to do so.

Company name given is UK Legal Solutions Liverpool.

i had a call, clearly could hear people / office in the background. i said hello, they put the phone down. tried to call them back - wrong number.

Great I'm glad I came on here.  That number rang me and I'm abroad and it would have cost me had I have answered.

They rang up asking for  my daughter.Said they were UK Legal Services[it was a female voice].I said she was out and asked what it was about .She said she needed to speak to her only and said she'd ring back and put phone down.
