Text from DRS asking me to call Gill Colton as a matter of urgency?????

Had a call a number of times on mobile and at work, dont know who they are or how they have my details - I WILL NOT SPEAK TO THEM

Had urgent call to contact DRS, never heard of them....and dont have any debts !!!!!!

Got call and text - contact some Andy and quote a reference #, no further details....wonder if those tactics ever actually work?

Liverpool based outfit, nothing is ever urgent where these guys are concerned, don't be threatened or alarmed by their non descript antics to get you to ring them. NEVER RING this outfit, they're only after collecting alleged debts, so nothing important nor urgent!

They also chase valid debts. I acted as a guarantor for some finance for my company before it went bust and they passed my details to DRS who tracked me down. They try an use bully tactics - I admit - Ring Urgently - Someone will visit you on either of these days next week - for example - but if you persist they can be (or have been) reasonable with me. Just don't let them bully you - they tried to press me for £3.5k when I owe £1200!!

Just rang here asking for an ex-employee who left 2 years ago!

I Had letters and phone calls from DRS and this number chasing a vodafone bill. Even though I am in a debt plan.

Rang my mobile and then rang my work phone straight after. Asking me for my address details.  not nice to be called at work.  They are some debt agency.

same here no idea who they are got my work number aswell so thats a bit scary :(

bloody sods got hold of my bank details and took £275 out of my bank as a debit card payment for a debt that is not mine !!

Uber stressed about this same company phoning to speak to my husband . Wont speak to me ? Any advice how to deal with them as husband isnt aware of any outstanding debts with them and wont speak to them .

Never heard of them, never had any debts, said they chase me on behalf of VOdafone, i asked for some credentials the guy on the phone refused to provide any info - i told him to go f**k himself then.

Guys just a few tips from a highly experienced debt collector avoider.

Don't ever answer the telephone to any number you do not recognise. If its important and you know the person or company, they will leave a message.

Use a PAYG phone. For sme reason I have no unsolicited debt collectors etc etc calling me on my PAYG  but when I had a contract they always seemed to track my number and start harassing me.

Have a plan for when someone comes to the door and asks for you. I simply interact with the person and  come across as the helpful citizen and guessing that he might have lived here previously, perhaps the previous owners son or something. Check the address........... "no sorry can't really help you good luck"

As for bailiffs, ensure all of your doors and windows are locked at all times when you are not in the property and never invite someone in to your home. Ask them to leave the property or you phone the police and report the trespasser.

If you make no contact, make no payments, do not ever, ever confirm anything about yourself to anyone, your default, CCJ etc will be removed from your credit file either within 6 years, or six years from your last payment. Something like that!

Never yield, repair your credit rating and wait for the next boom where you will be able to do it all again.

Set up an agreement with this company and they keep going in whenever there is available funds to withdraw it every week throughout the month now I can't afford my babies milk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have been doing a bit of research online and have found this about them they are not registered by FSA nor CSA. But they are also trading under a different name which is Commercial Credit Management Ltd who are registered on CSA but not FSA.
