Just googled the number and came here, i'm getting these now.

These guys have phoned me twice today on my mobile. 1st time left no message, 2nd time when I actually answered it they hung up.

I have Sky+ and the warrenty runs out next month so they are obviously selling it.

No matter, if I ever get to speak to them I will be telling them to P£"$ OFF!!

Same as everyone else they are still at it but at least I know not to talk to them,

They are still at it! I had a call earlier this evening on my mobile, I too have sky+ which is soon out of warranty. The only place these scammers could have got this information from is sky.  Shame on you Sky, I feel a rant in an email to Sky is soon to be on its way.  It wont make a jot of a difference but will make me feel better!

Had this call the other day, I answered it and noone spoke, could hear voices in the back ground like an office environment, they hung up on me. Had the call again today at simular time I didn't answer and they left no message. I would ask where are they getting our phone numbers from, as we are exdirectory?????? And if it is a scam and they are trying to sell something that does not exist, why don't they talk.

these are a unique company and i have honoured ther service just coz they dont give sky a percentage of what they make, they do provide a good warranty service and are very reliable

I have had a call from this number nearly everyday over the past two weeks. I've missed the call each time thankfully. They have never left a message though. After reading your comments about the sky warrenties I guess it is dodgy cos I don't even have sky.

we er not scam we er just like every husslers tring to make money legaally.if ur sky box get broken u need a new one so what is scam about it,get alife

I just had another call of these clowns and decided to do a google search of the number which is what brings me here.
They keep calling but only ring once and then hang up before i get a chance to pick up the phone, what sort of company pulls these sort of tactics i ask?

My partner took a call off Sky a few weeks ago about warranty (now we wonder if it was Sky?) We didnt want warranty and keep getting stuff thru post from Sky, and this really annoying number 3 or 4 times a day even at weekends!
Now I know what its about will start answering it and leaving it on while I go and make a cup of tea.... Sky should be ashamed of themselves as we too are exdirectory- but fortunately have caller ID to filter these!

i have had this call daily for past three weeks since telling the company i do not want to extend my warranty.

out of spite i refused to answer the call until today when they called 3 times straight after each over and i managed to get througha full mp3track ringtone before they hung up.

i called back the number and spoke to customer services who were very apologetic and stated they would remove my number, i will now wait and see what happens

Got a missed call from these people.

Call seems to be based in Kirkby, Liverpool.

No messgage left.

My partner just called them back after I took a call from someone today. He asked where they got their info from and they said they weren't authorised to tell him. They're not affiliated with Sky but wouldn't say how they know our warranty is about to run out. My partner told them what they're doing is illegal as we're on the telephone preference list. He's asked them to take our detail off their database, so if we get anymore calls or letters we'll take it further.
The company is called Nationwide Digital Satellite Warranty Services Ltd. They claim to have a trading standards number which is 05986843. We spoke to sky and they have no idea how this company have our details. We opted out of the 3rd party option when we signed up. BEWARE EVERYONE!!

This company has taken £59.99 from my account. I must have given card details for a DD as I thought it was Sky renewing the contract.

Anyone have any ideas who I can complain to!

i have my warranty with these people and find them to be a great company. i had a problem and they came out the same day and had no problems with the service at all.. well worth the money considering what sky are charging for call outs at the moment....

Great to find a site that helps us identify those who offend us and our privacy. Is there any opt out from this? Im ex directory and wonder how they got my number? If sky passed it on then there is surely a data crime happening as i did not give my permission for my number to given or sold. Dreaming of a web site that allows you to enter a telephone number and know that you can call and hang up all day on these scam numbers so they get a taste of their own medicine! Or even to know an email address of theirs so I can mail them as often as they deserve

Called over a couple of days no message left

Called me on this number today on my mobile.  Have called it in the past on 08712659865 - I've logged it under that number too.  I give my mobile number to almost no-one, and it's registered with the tps.  

There is somewhere you can report dropped calls to - can't remember who off the top of my head, though.  They were really helpful when Talk Talk plagued us with them.
