These people pretend to be from scottish power, one of the scammer is called Torick. I previously left scottish power and I know what I owe. These scammers tried to say I owe £500. I told them that I don't and arrangements have been made with the complaints department. They wanted to know what the issues were as to why I had to call the complaint department. I told them it should be on the system and I am to angry and fed up of explaining. They said that they don't have any info of arrangements made. I said well I will call them myself and complain about how rude you are, then he tried to say that I am refusing to pay and read out a fake disclaimer and ignored my comments, so I hung up and rang scottish power for confirmation. I then rang the scammer Torick and gave him a peace of my mind and he couldn't say anything but Okay. They are so annoying I recieve 2 calls a day from these idiots, I keep telling them to delete my number from their call list.

Was very close to giving them my card details but didn’t feel right that I had to give my full 16 digit card details over the phone, especially when they call at such an awkward time as well. Very suspicious behaviour as I’ve had a phone call from them every day. Worst part of the phone call is that they say there is an external debt collecting agency that will take legal action if I don’t pay some amount towards my bill. Funny thing is I do have an ongoing thing with Scottish Power, but how these people have the access to this information makes me think Scottish Power’s security must be shocking if they have our details.

Almost word for word as to what has been happening to me! I called them scammers and refused to discuss the situation with them.

it does seem our contact info is leaking from scottish power, i received calls just asking for payment over the phone but not even to know what I'm paying for...  I hung up and complained to scottish power.  They know basic details that only scottish power should know.. so whats going on?

See prior posts. This seems to be a scammer spoofing a legit phone number for Scottish Power and trying to get you to pay bills you do not owe.

I received same scam calls from them in 2024. They are a total scammer. Do not give them anything.
