This is Scottish Power energy providers. If you have an account with them, as do I, it maybe worth calling them back. This is not a scam number...

I have been called by this number today, it is a scam number that Scottish Power use, it was blocked automatically by my BT number and blocked by my mobile provider immediately. I have been harassed and bullied by Scottish Power. I called Scottish Power to tell them of this number and they searched and said that no-one has tried to contact me today. Yes they did ! They told me NOT to contact this number. Being called 5 times in a day and also 5 times in ONE hour !! AMOUNTS TO "HARASSMENT" AND IS ILLEGAL !! BEWARE. * says below to fill the box ' Caller company' ?????

This is not a scam number.  It is Scottish Power.  They are calling there customers as it is the beginning of a new billing year and they are checking customers payment arrange are in place for the year therefore it is quite safe to provide them with address, postcode, name, DOB and contact numbers.

I have been called from this number before said it was scottish power so I never answered it again want it stopped

I don't give a damn who it is, it is never safe to give any details to anybody that is calling you, if they're calling you and you're registered with them then they should have all the details they need, if they don't then that's their bad. If the message they have to offer is that important then they can write a letter to the addresses in question. NEVER give any details to anybody calling you, even "genuine" companies. Another number to be placed on the blocked list.

These are Scottish Power's people chasing payment on overdue bills.
They called me one week after my bill arrived.  My advice,..... switch,  sooner rather than later.!!

SCAM!!! One of my many calls I get in a day was 01527419162 where a Indian/Pakistani sounding girl told me she was from Scottish power.
When I pretended to be a woman as she expected to talk to my other half she put me on hold and I ended the call.
This number is definitely a SCAM do not be fooled.

Supposed to be Scottish power ?, foreign man didn't understand accent ,now just getting calls from this number constant with nobody there "!!!!!

Got bamboozled into accepting this was Scottish Power and got as far as giving my name and address; and then the penny droped as they wanted cash there and then by card wherebye we pay our account via BACS.  IT a [***] scam.

I concur with the gentleman above Scottish Power are corporate bullies who never cease to harass their customers. I was called no less than five times from a less than ethical company who paid out over ten million in fines over 2016. How Ofgem continually renew their license is beyond me and shows a level of complicit behavior in doing so. My advice to anyone is to record the time of the call and ask the person calling for their SP ID number and do not continue the call without this information. Scottish Power have no place in the energy industry and their total lack of infrastructure to deal with a complaint demonstrates they are not interested in anything other than revenue. SP are a complete disgrace in modern British industry yet Ofgem allow them to continue to do business.

Hung up when I answered the phone thinking it was another expected caller.

After refusing to speak to them I called Scottish Power directly and they confirmed that they had notes on the account that someone spoke to me 15 minutes ago so it is legit (Scottish Power).

I have been called 3 times by this number. Every time it's a women speaking an Indian language. Even when I said speak English, they hang up and call back. It's a scam, I REFUSE TO GIVE ANY OF MY DETAILS OVER THE PHONE TO ANYONE WHO CSLLS AND THEY DINT SPEAK ENGLISH. ITS HARRASSMENT

Ive had 8 missed calls a day for the past 4 months from this number, i called them back and they identified themselves as British Gas. I mentioned the amount of calls were excessive and would be classed as harrasment. They hung up. The thing is ive not been a British Gas customer for over 5 years and dont hold any debts with them.

I would not be so sure that this is really Scottish Power. They called me today and knew my name and account number, but wanted me to confirm DOB and address. I said I would call them back. When I called back at the Scottish Power customer service number, they said noboday had tried to contact me.

this phone number is a menace and if it is scottish power it wants stopping ,pests nuisances and dimwits really as I have already told them not to tamper with my rights as a consumer can't even hear it but it sounds long way away  and my advice the further the better,worst organisation in UK

I am getting sick and tired of these numbers calling my home I check don't answer my phone if its Scottish power they got problem about leaving a voicemail say called call them back they hang up every time  they're a pain the [***]

I concur that its Scottish Power Debt collection - they sent me my bill saying due on 22nd about 10 days before it, next day i got final warning saying it was due on the 8th, then this number has been calling me...ive had UNREAL trouble with Scottish Power...checkout Review site....im switching ...you wouldnt believe what ive had to put up with...put it this way, they are so inept they can screw your sanity!!

rubbish they harrass there customers to the point of suicide  . for absolutly no purpose avoid them at all cost . i would rather have the plague
