Left an automated message. Simply put I won't be talking to someone who can't understand the postal system.

I had two calls from this number within an hour, just don't bother to answer, they get the message.

I am a disabled pensioner and this number has rang me every day for the last three weeks two and three times a day.I am so sick of it as it takes me ages to get to the phone.Have you reported this to anyone.If so I would like to know if you can help who I do report it to.? BT don't seem intersted.Told me I must  have given them the number Grrrrrrr.(AS IF ) Grrr!!!

This number is forever calling me..! Upto 10 times a day if they are bored!

Call every day but automated message then hangs up, gives me a number to call, they must be crazy if they think that i am going to be bothered to call them when they cant be bothered to put someone real on the other end of the phone. No idea who they are what they want, probably want to sell me something

Keep leaving garbled voicemails. Don't waste your money retrieving them if they do this to you. Sorry, no clue to who they are.

Had a call today telling me they're Clear Associates??  asking me to call 01536 276460 ... ignored and will continue to ignor.

Called me today asking about information on a neighbour. Said they had confidential mail for them

this people is to do with bailiff. so tell them to f******* offf.

These people phone you and ask if this is 52 ????? road, then they ask if keven or whoever is still living at 53 ???? road. They are fishing for information.

They are Claire Associated a debt collecting agency. They should be writing to you if they think you owe money. Ignore otherwise

This number has called my mobile 37 times to date.  I just ignore it and will continue to do so, they are just wasting their time

I took a phone call from Clear Associates last night on my mobile phone.  They asked to speak to my husband or his wife Hayley (who he is divorced from), bearing in mind my phone number is in my name and NOT my husbands.  They refused to tell me what it was in relation to except to say that they had a private and confidential letter to send out to my husband and his wife and asked me to confirm my address.  When I explained that he was divorced from Hayley and I was his wife and I asked how they got my number they said that my husband must have gave it to their client.  This is absolute rubbish as my husband does not give my number out.  When my husband took the call over from me he asked how they got my number and they said that he must have given it to their client.  My husband told them that it was complete rubbish.  When he also refused to confirm our address the man on the end of the phone started getting really shirty, so my husband told him that unless he was prepared to tell us who his client was and what the letter was regarding then we would not be confirming anything.  These agencies refuse to give information out citing the Data Protection Act, but they get narky if you refuse to give personal information out to them.  I would suggest if you receive any calls from these people to also cite the Data Protection Act and tell them if they have any information that they believe belongs to you then they would not need to phone and confirm that information.  The letter in question was addressed to my husband and his ex-wife at an address which my husband moved out of approximately nine years ago.  Most debt that is accrued more than six years ago is now statute barred and they have no right to chase for it after that period, and even more so they have no right to use such underhanded methods to try and gain information from the alleged debtor.  DO NOT be afraid of these people and DO NOT give personal information out over the phone.  If you are aware of the debt that they are calling about get them to write to you and keep all communication in writing.  DO NOT discuss any personal or financial information over the phone especially if you have no idea about what it is they are calling about.  They will try every trick in the book to get information from you.  They are NOT entitled to that information.  The onus is on them to prove that you are the debtor.  If they cannot prove you owe the debt and have failed to provide a credit agreement etc and you have told them you have no knowledge of the debt then they cannot continue to chase you for it.  This is against the law under the Protection from Harassment Act.  If you are unsure of your rights with regard to being chased for a debt, whether yours or not, have a look at the Consumer Credit Act.

I am not a lawyer and am not legally qualified.  These comments are merely my own gained from experience.

A guy called John Preston  from Clear Associates called my WORK number and asked if this was a stacy *****  who actually funnily enough was registed as my next door neighbour.  I told him to remove my work number and not contact me.  This was after I told him it was illegal to relate me or associate me with a neighbour.  He was very clever as said it was not illegal but knowing what I know as I did a similar job It is illegal.  He apparently got my number from a data base??????

This number left a message this morning from a polite lady who said she represented "Clear Associates" and had an "urgent message" for my son and needed to speak to him first before sending an item of mail through the post.  Admittedly, it sounds as if "Unclear Associates" may be a more apt name for them but I haven't phoned them back to find out more so am only making an intelligent guess in the light of some of these comments.
Alas, I cannot physically pass on the message for I found my son dead a year ago now.

I would like to know who gave this company permission to phone my no; and ask about a neighbour who I do not know.I think that this is wrong and they should be brought to task about it.
