I dont know who called me

got this number on my bill but never calld it only a vuew seonds hmmm

its fife council!!

I called it, its Fife Council, automated message says " Hi there this is Fife Council, a member of staff has tried to contact you, they will be in touch again soon.

Got a silent call from this number.

Eventually a voice asked who i was...So I asked him who he was (he did call me, after all)

"Dave Cronin" came the wee voice on the other end.

Dont know anybody with that name, so  i told wee Dave that he'd got the wrong number.

At no time did he identify himself as being from Fife Council.

got a call from this number on my mobile, dont know who it is, if its fife council i dont know how they got my number as i never give it out!!!

Couldn't understand who was calling, very broad scottish accent, but she was quite abrupt when I told her.

this number is used for all fife council services so it could be from schools ect my daughters school uses this number although if you phone them its not this number you use

Yeah Fife Council at it's best. They phoned me 5 times today. I have been out, so WHY can't they leave me a number to call THEM back on?????

Oh Hold on a sec, drat I forgot, it's Fife Council, common sense does not apply here.

If this is fife council what are they phoning me for? Oh wait yea it could be the fact ive not paid their £400 they want for council tax all of a sudden when i earn 580 a month with 520 going to my rent

i'm in Leicester. a woman rang me today from this number and shouted "Yvonne?!" at me. my name is not Yvonne. she seemed confused by this. she shouted "Yvonne?!" again...

at no point did she identify herself as a representative of Fife council.

though i do hope she finds Yvonne...

I got a call from it - it was the high school saying my son was ill .. It's the general fife council no. I assume

I'm getting a call every other day from this number and when I answer, they hang up. The thing is, I'm from Kirkcaldy (which is the area code) but I live in Oxfordshire now!

When I get a call from this number its always from my little girls school..

The school called me on this number to tell me that my daughter was sick.

It's a generic number from Fife Council, could be someone in any of their departments trying to get in touch.

Called me & left no message. I live near London. I'm sceptical that this is the council, which some on here report is on the voicemail they hear when they call back. Anyone can record that message and the sheer volume of 'accidental' calls from this number suggests otherwise.

I got a call from said number at 12:12 pm on Saturday 2nd December on my mobile...I live in Edinburgh...nothing since...Council offices open on Saturday?? Assuming wrong number called....
