01613 128082 contacted my sister asking for a Mr. Thomas. Looking at the above comments i would ignore the number!

Got  a call from this number today, left it and googled it straight afterwards. Came right to this site. Glad I didnt bother picking it up now.

Had a call from 01613.... automated message at the end saying to contact another 0845...number to be taken off their services. Just wondering if it is an automated system that grabs telephone numbers from a resource as it was to landline not mobile.

I just got a call today from exactly the same number. I do know people in Manchester and have business there. I answered and they asked to speak to (giving a name) . I asked who was calling. They said they were called Adam and then the phone seemed to cut off! No idea what it was about

Keep getting a call from 01613126506 I always give the phone to my partner and then they hang up, I think they are waiting for a female to answer - but can't be sure about that.  Don't know anyone from that area.

I keep getting calls from 01613126506, I did not answer because I did not recognize the number.

I've been called several times by 01613 128082. I dont know anybody in Manchester and I have even blocked the number but still they manage to call. Havent answered the calls though.

When the phone rings you answer! You then see what is all about; if they are trying to sell you something just say you are not interested, if you are not. Common sense!

What are you afraid of? What do you think it will happen if you answer the phone? Would there be a hand coming out of the receiver and strangle you?! Or you've been given your number to so many guys, you are not sure who you want to talk to!

No mate, it is just Common sense not to answer unwanted, unsolicited calls from none speaking cold callers.

Numerous calls from 01613 numbers over the last few days, starting to annoy me !

Got one from 01613128347 which is a Manchester area code. Don't know if it's the same thing you guys got but it seems likely.

Very suspicious number.  Missed the call today, so called back. They answer with 'connecting your call'  you then wait for ages to be put through to someone, with no information as to who the company/person is. I hung up.

I received a phone call from 01613128347 and ignored the call. I was told if you receive unknown calls from numbers you do not recognise, do not just reject the call, allow it to ring out, in other words, ignore the call. If they find out that your number is in use they will carry on calling and sell your number to other call companies.

I received a call from 01613 025902.  They wanted me to confirm my post code and then queried my washing machine but guessed incorrectly.  The number 01613 doesn't have to be from Manchester, like people think on this forum.  It can also be used when calling from overseas.  This was probably a scam but I hung up.

I had acall from this number, twice today.  offer to me , to finde some money for this Christmas
