This number calls me at least 5 times a day. Most of the time the calls are dead silence, but on the odd occasion that someone speaks, they ask to speak to my husband but will not tell me why. I tell them that if they don't identify themselves and explain to me why they're so eager to speak to my husband, they can take a running jump.

The number, after a bit of searching, belongs to a 'Moorcroft Debt Collectors'. My husband did owe a sum of £830 to a software company last year, but the debt was cleared in full last October. Why they are hassling us now after the debt has cleared is beyond me. We have paid what was owed and they can go and get screwed if they think they can swindle more money out of us just to fund their own minimum wage low lives.

The next time they call, I will inform them that any more calls will prompt legal action to be taken. If they call after that, I will consult the help of a lawyer immediately. So if anyone out there is reading this and belongs to Moorcroft, do not call us again or I will be getting money from YOU!

Perhaps your husband should stop hiding behind you and talk to them ? They probably aren't allowed to discuss it with you... and he obviously gave them your phone number. If he can afford £830 of software, he should be able to afford to pay on time. Maybe if people like you paid your debts, companies could pay more than the minimum wage to their low life employees ?
