Started with prerecorded message "Tony from Green Energy here“ claiming I'd opted in for saving money on my energy bills (I haven't), then cut to live guy who asked me whether I own my own home.
Since I’m totally fed up getting identical calls from this and other numbers eg 01887224456 and I've asked them (politely) to delete my number, I didn’t say anything and he hung up.
As I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it has to be either a scammer or a dodgy company.
I'd encourage everyone to report nuisance calls like this to the Information Commissioners Office -

The more people who complain and the more data they have, the more likely they are to track companies down and prosecute them.
