I just had a call from this number - when I answered there was just a lot of background noise and then it hung up. Should I report it to my network provider?

Just looking at the number  tells me it is  sales Looks like they have to do another cleanup on these people what a bunch of idiots I've received two phone calls from them do not answer them

also recieved call from 01616626518 left voice mail but didn't speak?

got called today whilst i was in the middle of a conversation on my landline did not recognise number immediatley but vaguely remember a similar number left on my housephone which i answered and was greeted with silence so i did not answer

Got a call today (6/12/12) off this number, missed it as i was in work rang back expecting it to be something important got a recorded message about speaking to a claims professional, i then put the phone down. If this costs me a fortune on my bill there will be hell to pay!!

Also received a call from them they left a message with no details as to who they were or why they were calling just a number and that they would remove my details in 3-5 working days.

Probably a technique a bored / lazy operative uses for the benefit of call recording to make it sound like he got through to you but couldn't hear... Probably knows only too well what response he'll get when he starts talking about PPI.

My phone developed a little problem just before you called. Can i Know who called and the purpose. I called back but not getting through

Keep getting repeated phone calls from this number, but not getting an answer when picking up.

THEY TRIED TO TELL ME I HAD SOME MONEY THAT I MAY BE ABLE TO CLAIM FROM BANK CHARGES....
A SPAM CALL THAT WAS NOT REQUESTED BY ME
I HAVE REPORTED THEM ....

Just received a call asking to speak to my wife.  when I told them she wasn't in and could I take a message he asked me when she would be back so I felt quite within my rights to ask who he was to which his arrogant reply was i will call back and hung up.  guess what [***] your getting a mouthful ya little [***] when you phone back.

They just called., did not answer as i never answer anymore, unless i kno who's calling. checked number and found it was a ppi bullsh!t. So as my androids has the latest Kaspersky installed, it monitors all calls, texts etc. it asked me what to do. Always block selected. that sorted!! :)

Same here. Didn't pick up and had a 3 minute 'message' left which was actually juts the sound of someone reading a paper, sniffing and with Coronation Street on in the background!

Just received a call from 01616626518. A man knew my name and told me you can have a claim from bank. I told I never use bank :) He then dropped the call. It seems like a stupid frauder!

Keep getting missed calls on my mobile form this number.

Had a call from them on my mobile (where did they get my mobile number and surname from?) (PPI SCAM) at 3pm and asked them to remove my number from the list and told them not to call back. Guess what just had a call from them, just 2 hours later, recognised the number so answered with the loudest shout I could muster "F*** Off!" They hung up. Well maybe everytime they call and irritate me I can try and deafen them? I can now expect my mobile number to be sold on amongst all the other phishing companies though, so will be getting more annoying phonecalls I expect. I am on call so I have to answer the phone :(
