Just kept calling and rang off everytime the answer phone kicked in ?!?!

keeps ringing my landline and hangs up when the answer phone kicks in.

This number belongs to Safe Style UK Windows. I have specifically asked them to removed my details from their database, but they kept on calling me. Someone need to do something!!!

I think everyone should go to their web site and complain by following means:

1) Write up the complain electronically (Word, notepad etc) and save it as a document.
2) Go to their web site
3) Copy and paste the complaint every time they call you.

These are a bunch of wasters, made the mistake of requesting a quote, but changed my mind. Now keep getting calls at all diferent times.

Going to find thier office, and pay them a visit. this is jsut sheer mindless intimiadtion.

Can confirm all of the above. They are a 'boiler room' stykle cold calling company trying to flog you double glazing, windows and doors. Call them back and inform them that you wish them to stopp calling you. You will get some attitude and back chat from them, just ignore it and give them your name and phone number and formally request that they remove your name from the list. If they call again after that, visit the TPS (telephone preference service), run by the direct marketing association, http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ , register your number and from that moment, you can make a formal complaint which will be held up in a court of law... spread the word and remove these jokers from our missed calls list.

This number, along with the other 2 or 3 I get daily, called and hung up as soon as my answerphone kicked in. Can these people not get the message that I won't answer any number I don't recognise so leave a message and, if I feel the need, I'll call back. The alternative? Naff off!    

Those calls are driven by computer.     As far as a computer is concerned it did not get through.    It will try again, and again 'cos that is what computers do.        You need to contact a person to get it stopped.    Some details on earlier postings will help you do that.      Alternative?   Block the number!

Who call me?

Called me today and did not leave a message. This tel no is Safe Style UK Windows ( Buy one get one free advert !!! etc).
Have now called them and told them we no longer live in the UK and only get calls forwarded by a friend and it must be costing them a fortune to phone us in Mexico - made them jump a bit, try it.

7ft tall geezer ambushed me on the drive when I was trying to go on school run! Made the mistake of giving home number rang 10 times already!!!

Safestyle UK ring and ring but don't leave a damn message. I called back and got put through to "safestyle" and promptly hung up (immature but satisfying!)

I kept coming home from work to over 10 missed calls from this number belonging to safestyle uk window company, i have asked several times for my details to be removed but they call yet again, and the last time the woman was rather rude to me!
Its beyond harrassment now!

Get your own back and report them to the Information Commissioner's Office.  Under the new laws which came into force last month any UK based company, and its CEO, can be fined up to £500,000 for nuisance calling.  The beauty is that they no longer need hundreds of complaints before the can act, one complaint can start the process.  Make sure you tell them how may calls you have had and how many times you have asked them not to call.
