this caller keeps ringing me with silent calls

Thats great info I am going to get this phone as mine is a panasonic and only has 30 in the memory.

Its been free with talktalk for a while now.  you can do it online

Getting frequent calls from this call centre. Latest one was an Asian guy calling himself "John Murphy". I said he didn't sound Irish to me and hung up!

Called asked if I was miss helen and when I said I was Mrs stevens they hung up! So annoying!

Yet another call ,hanging up when answer phone cut in .

Said they were a well known Uk saving company, never heard of them, and I could not understand their English, hung up!!

Bought BT8500 Call Blocker, have to pay Virgin Media £2/month for caller ID but well worth it, kept asking for Kristhoffer but sons name is Christopher, Foreign Scum. £49 from Tesco 2 phones + answer phone.

Called repeatedly on 17th Feb. At first, they kept asking for Mr X (who does not exist) and my housemate told them there is no Mr X living here. The man on the other end of the phone called him a bad man and hung up.

They then called five more times, hanging up whenever I answered.

International calls are evidently too cheap and call centre staff have gone WAY downhill.

Have received 4 calls from this number today. When I pick up line goes dead,

I think the TPS can only influence firms calling from the UK - so, if I'm correct, any call from abroad can't be disuaded by them.   This might be one of the reasons so many foreign call centres are employed to make these type of calls to us...as well as probably getting lower wages than their UK counterparts, so are cheaper for firms to use for their marketing etc.

they rang me 5 times yesterday and so far 7 times today!
Thank goodness my phone can block unwanted calls.

This number has just rang me and rang off after a few seconds nothing said

what are these people doing about these nuisance calls, why are we writing down on this report page if nothing is done and why watch my language when these companies continually keep calling me harassing me......

I got called this morning saying there was something wrong with my computer.. I stopped the guy and asked them to take me off their list/database.... he said NO !!! I asked pardon then he proceeded to tell me "i want to F*** you"!!! I was stunned and hung up instantly ,  if that had of been my child that answered the phone, Its absolutely ridiculous!!! I rang BT they informed me they are international and unfortunately there is no way to stop or trace them.  She advised me about the BT8500 handset which i am seriously considering.

Another call from this number ,as before hangs up on answer phone cutting in no message .
