Got a missed call from 01639686000 (016396 86000 / 01639 686 000 / 01639 68 60 00) - I know it's from Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (NPTCBC) - But, does anyone know what department it is?

When we called the number back, there was an answerphone message with the following:

"Hi this is 686000 you have recieved a call from Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.  If you are still needed you will be called again later"

I ALSO RECEIVED A CALL , I RANG BACK AND HAD AN ANSWERING MACHINE MESSAGE.   WHAT DO THESE CALLS MEAN, AND WHAT DEPARTMENT WOULD THEY BE CALLING FROM.

They telephoned me & after a lot of research found out it's Jobfit!

Social services also call from this number.  I don't even have a kid....

In my case it was from the "Transport Department" of NPTCBC - to organise transport for my Son to and from his school.

They deal with Taxis and minibuses.

This is council tax department as I've delt with them last 2 days number is on my letter

My Caller I'd says it's environmental health so I called that dept the guy was very helpful checked his system see if I was on it for anything but nada showed up so a mystery just wait I suppose

its that dump by wilkinsons in town. could be council tax or benefits. they just called me because I am about to kill myself because of brandon g huish from the council tax office. [***] never work with u to get arrears paid off they take u to court instead.
am having my last meal before someone has to clear me up off a train track......

I had one from this number at 6.05 last night but thought they finish at 5
