Hi, I keep getting calls from this number. Pension Care Line. Funnily enough I had another call this morning from 01618278151, I answered this one and again regarding Pensions.....they had my address details from 7 years ago and I've changed address twice since the one that they had. Very odd! They said they were calling in relation to new pensions set up by the government and wanted to check my personal details to see if I qualify for their scheme. I would stay clear of these numbers. I just told the guy my company sort my pension and I was already sigh up....the guy couldn't put the phone down quick enough!

To stop sales calls use Telephone preference service TPS it's free! It takes a few weeks but its worth it, also you can use the mail preference service MPS to stop most junk mail, again takes a while but I really see the benefits now.

Ahhh the T.P.S  as usefull as a phart in the wind.....well what can we expect from  A U.K agency no balls

01772 507858 - this is a Preston Area code.  They keep calling my mobile so I have added the number to a blocked spam list facility....so they then call me with +441772507858 straight afterwards.....i have now blocked this one too.  They are a pain...i am called regularly (I am still notified when they try to get through)..they have also tried my home no but I do not know how to block that..

The number is allocated to Affiniti Integrated Solutions Ltd.     Likely used by an overseas call centre routing through to conceal their true location and CLI.            For the information of the smelly gentleman above TPS is NOT an agency of any kind.    It is a free service from the UK Sales & Marketing Industry in the hope of protecting their own reputation.       Have a look at their we site, especially the section on what they can and cannot do.

If you wish to discharge some more wind, aim it at OFCOM.       Regulators?

Rec'd calls from this number. I was taken in by the patter and have now rec'd the letter from them to give them authority to check for any hidden pension ( SERPS). Having read the comments here I will now ignore this and I will tell them to get lost if they ring again.

I work for the pension care line and whilst I can understand you don't like cold calls, it is not a scam - it is a legitimate service which is fully regulated.

I fully understand posters frustration at third parties having their contact details however I am very careful of the data trail that I leave. I understand that the majority of mobile phone contracts have a condition that allows them to share details with third parties.

If you are not interested in our service politely tell us and we will amend our records accordingly

I have no criminal convictions nor would I commit any criminal acts.

So criminal that we give you our telephone number from which you can find our address!

Please don't make senseless and baseless allegations which have no basis in fact or law. Fine, you might not like cold calls, but it does not make the service being offered illegal

a woman phoned from above number asked for me by name I asked who was speaking she replied pension care line I don't have pension so was surprised to receive call was worried she asked for me by name I would like to know where she got my name

Just had a call from this number.. i didnt answer it and came online to look it up.. its now blocked....
I only just brought this sim/number so must be the phone company selling info!!!!

It may well be a new SIM but it probably has a number that has been used before and now recycled.

I went into orange and brought it.. so yes it might be the sim but very strange that i activate it and within the hour i get this number phone me at about 7.50pm... still 99% sure its the phone company... thats why i cancelled my last sim with tesco... everyone knows ur records/info are being sold via doc/hospitals too.. no privacity!

If it sounds like a scam it probably is a scam be warned  dont be taken in by these vermin

I got a call from them today claiming they were pension careline

I have just received a call from 01772507858 saying that it was Billy from pension Caroline about a call I had made recently. When I asked who was calling just said Pension Careline.
Then asked if I had worked in the 1980's and was still working. When I said that I had retired a year ago he made a comment  to the effect that I didn't sound old enough and then said that it did not apply to me . Ok and hung up.
I obviously did not meet his crireria.

Your right... TPS are a waist of time. I signed up about 4 months ago but still get calls. This being one of them.

Tell them you're retired

They have tried several times. I have spoken to them once and told them I'm retired. Calls have almost dried up

I was told the same, eg didn't sound old enough.

I am on TPS and MPS and still get unwanted calls and mail
