This is in fact the Citizens Advise Bureau Stoke on Trent. I requested a call back from the Advise Line and this is the number that came up on my screen when they did. Number to call to speak to someone is 08444 111 444.

Its worrying when a person calls from here asks by name for someone but refuses to disclose who they are or where from and you can't call them back because they don't accept incoming calls! if its a citizens advice bureau then why not say so??

Its probably due to data protection. Everybody's into it these days. If it was a confidential call from the CAB I would be glad they don't say who they are, as I wouldn't want everyone to know my business!

Why are you posting to someone who was here 14 years ago and has nothing to do with the calls being reported?  The number being reported is not that poster's number.  If you called this number and it did not allow a connection, that is because the number is phony.

LOL 🤣 I just got a call from this number 01782408799 and I answered but no one spoke but I could hear a conversation going on between two women so after a few moments of hello hello HELLO I hung up. Tried calling back and same problem won't allow incoming calls 😡
