It's Dukes Bailiffs.
They are contacting me continuously over a council tax debt. I say debt* it actually isn't a debt of any sort. They are trying to bill me for the tax year 10 when I moved out of 'said house' may 08.. Therefore there is no debt. They won't let it drop though hence calls and texts, letters and even knocks at the door. Luckily I'm always at work but even if I wasn't then as long as I don't open the door then they can't do a thing anyway! If for any reason they did attempt to force entry then they'd be in a worldfull of it and for reasons stated above.. I don't owe a penny! #lawsuit

I was told Reece Bailiffs, also for a council tax bill from last year even though I pay by direct debit.

Text message saying unpaid debt. Credit rating under threat and to call Dukes today. I have no unpaid debt that I am aware of.

Calling for a debt I know nothing about and have never had.

Dukes baillifs trying to hassle me to pay debt which I did have but I'm going through IVA and they keep hassling me with calls, texts, letters and knocks at the door. Scare tactics that I now just ignore

Is this just for council debt only or other stuff too? Are they legit or it’s a con?

This sounds suspicious - seems to me you would be getting mailed notices for any unpaid debt. I have a feeling this is a scam, maybe from a spoofed number and name.

They constantly I mean upto ten times a day phone calls I had bad anxiety and ended up changing my number, I’d spoken to them direct when I first moved back to the area and requested to go to court I want to tell a judge, there is no debt from 8 years ago!! They just carried on ringing off landline then mobile numbers, sent texts like we have a removal van will be at your door in next 24hrs, URGENT, wander why people have mental health issues, nothing but bullies!

I think it is scam. I have a private voip number that literally nobody knows and it is not advertised anywhere, so it is a little weird that they would call me for debt that not only I do not have, but how would they associate it to a number not advertised anywhere? I think it is scam.

Yes, that is a scammer calling. They often use programed dialing, and your phone number was the next on list of numbers in a sequence. If the call was a recording, that is a sure sign the crooks are simply "dialing for dollars" - hoping to get person that they can scare and harass.
