Just had a call from this number on my mobile, didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. Googled it and found this. Was adding it into my "Do Not Answer" contact in my phone and noticed the last number I had added to it was the spookily similar 01792 211847...

got a call from this number and also *847. I did not answer either of them. Sounds like I saved myself some bother.

This is yet another company trying to sell their services for PPI claims

PPI claim rubbish, pre-recorded message. Starts of saying it's urgent... *blocked*

our number is ex directory and supposed to have a block on these radom call spammers

keep getting called by this number, tried to phone back but its always engaged how can I block it?

Had these type of calls for months, no response when I answer, then just hang up, I just can't see what these companies are gaining for no content calls??? Surely Oftel can do something about these hideous calls, I work night shifts and these calls, even when not answered have done the damage of waking me up.

Have received several calls from this number, with an automated message claiming to be about a PPI mis-selling claim. Entirely bogus, of course, and really annoying. I saw elsewhere that these calls seem to penetrate the TPS service, so if anyone's got an idea for blocking these people, I'd be glad to hear of it.

Ive put this number on a block on my phone. Just a chancing PPI call.

All got is silence, complete nuisance call

There are plenty of call blocking apps on the mobiles.

Keep getting calls from this number. They call my mobile and home phone simultaneously. SERIOUSLY annoying. Call my home number for a good 5 mins EVERY morning, which is now my unwanted wake up call!!

Try 9 to opt out but still get calls

then i tryed 5 and spoke to some one " a real person" who asked for my details and soon as i ask for they name the first time they hung up. 2nd time i asked to speak to a manger and hang up again.
