Had a call yesterday which I ignored, one today which I answered and then they hung up - both calls were at 4.00pm, colleage at work suggested I googled it and I found this website.  These callers are a damn nuisance and this website is useful!

Hi, Someone just called my iphone on that number, i live in Swansea too, i just called them back, got through to a brightphone callcentre office.

If i track down the building i could post up where it's based.

I had a call from this number at 15.29 today, 1 August 2008 to my iPhone!  Only friends know this number!  I did try calling back worried it was important, but it was engaged.  I searched the internet for the dialing code - Bishopston,  South Glamorgan, Wales!!  It is a total invasion of privacy and should be reported!

Hey, These people rang me too today. Answered but they hung up and I didn't call them back :) I have an iPhone and it seems to me that quite a few iPhone owners have had this happen to them. How many of you have iPhones? Might be some kind of pattern :)  They obviously are scammers!

I had a call yesterday & today from this number but did not answer & they left no message. I have an iphone too and think this is very dodgy!!!! I have also noticed that since my contract with 02 started I have been having alot of calls from numbers that I do not know - very annoying!!!!

Add me to the list. These calls are doubly annoying to shift workers because what is a reasonable hour to most people may be just after bed-time for me! Despite being signed up for the telephone preference service and being ex-directory I still get lots of unwanted sales calls and 'dead lines', both to mobile and landline. It is a real problem, and this site looks like it can be a big help in dealing with it.

Again did not answer in-veiw of the above, but it is really concerning how the person/person's managed to get hold of iPhone users tel numbers...

I keep getting this number calling me every day (except over the last weekend) to my iPhone - I never answer... this is my second posting on this site. Really annoying but glad this site is here.

I keep getting calls from this number too. Usually they just hang up, but today I got a Welsh woman who claimed to be from a mobile phone insurance company called RightPhone. I said I hadn't heard of them, and the line went dead. Sounds like they want people to ring them back, presumably at high cost.

Load of rude Welsh Chav's. Answer and give them an ear-full, always a nice way to unwind.

I too have had this number call my mobile several times in the past few weeks.  When I answer I get nothing so now I terminate the call as soon as I see the number!

Had 2 calls today on my NEW work mobile - I broke the seal on the box this morning. My collegue also has just had a call. Both of us have Nokia 6300's on Vodafone. My iPhone on O2 is sat next to me too is currently silent - so I doubt it's an iPhone/O2 specific thing.

These companies offer a dodgy warranty, they are not regulated by the FSA and do not cover loss, water damage or pretty much anything, the charge will be around 60-90 pounds for the warranty.
If you have been sold one of these packages, charge your card back as they are illegal and contact the FSA.

Heed my advice, I have been caught out in the past and these bandits have called me, it's terrible.

I've just had a call from this number also - 01792572130, claiming to be 'Bright Phone', and acting as if I should have been expecting the call. She asked if I was paying £9.99, then asked 'Didn't you realise you were paying £9.99?', after my second 'no', she put the phone down. This was to an Orange phone.

Just had this number call for the last 2 days both at 10:15. Haven't answered as I never do with numbers I dont recognise. Typed number into google and found this site. Also own an iPhone so I think this must have something to do with it. Definately a SCAM, but I want to know where they got my number from?

got a call from this number at about 10:30 this morning.

Didn't answer it cos I'd already hung up on one company phoning me yesterday.

I have an iPhone too.
