Just got a call from this number aswell. called at 11:25. didnt answer and, after a google, found this thread. thanks guys. how the hell do they get our numbers? quite annoying!

Also had a call from them this afternoon but didn't answer cz have had several one-off calls from unknown numbers recently. I resent that they can get hold of our numbers somehow. Scum.

They call me every two days

We are not a company set out to scam anyone.  

It sounds as if alot of you people do not wish to recieve cold calls for sales or marketing purposes - this actually is perfectly legal.  If you have ticked a bock on a form or filled in a form online and agreed to your number being used for future sales/marketing calls this is how we and other call centres get your numbers.

I would strongly advise if you wish to be free from these calls you register your number with the telephone preference service - its a free of charge service and any good call centre will actually cleanse their database on a monthly basis so these number are not called .  Please be aware this lasts for 12 months and after that you DO need to register again - which is still free!!!

i had these people ringing me up to they say their and insurance company as soon as i heard her say that i hung up!
it cnt be a o2 or iphone thing because i have the samsung soul on vodafone

I had a missed call from this number i will most certainly not be answering to this number, Isn't this site great!!!

my son got this today on his payg mobile as he has learning disabilities he phoned it back

he was only on for 10 seconds n it wasnt answered.

thing is as he only had £10 of credit on his phone which he put on 2 days ago and his balance is now £2.34 these *******s cost him almost £8 in calling credit!!!

no idea how they got his number tho mind you as he said he didnt want to be listed  when he registered his phone!!!

these people who do this are just the scum of the earth

I just got a call from this number i did not answer it i dont know anyone in swansea

i have had them call me twice now, claiming to reduce my insurance on my phone both times they have asked for bank details, they are definatly scammers becuase they even ask for the 3 digit sercurity code on the back

We dial off a 01792 as you know that is a local number so your con would only have been charged national rate - max of 50p per min - so please get your facts right before trying to bad mouth companies.

Any telephone sales call do require your CVV2 for authorisation of your transaction, we are not scammers we are offering a equivalent policy for a reduced price.

missed call from this number this morning

Wow I'm glad I googled this. I'm answering weird numbers at the moment because I'm applying for jobs and you never know where head office will be - I have really dodgy reception at my house and I asked her to repeat - no welsh accent - and I only got the first part twice - but they knew my name! "Calling to confirm that Sophie [surname] -" and then it broke off. Didn't think I would get any info on here, glad I have.  I think I'm going to follow Ian's lead and save the number under a name I know I won't pick up! like scammer!

It would be a good idea if anyone is brave enough to answer next time to ask what company they say they are from?

Just received a call from this number!! When answered no one there!! Had a missed call last night too. If this is a Company calling then it's not very professional! Espicially telling people to get their facts right!

Had a missed call on my wife's phone (voda/samsung) from that number.

Maybe it is a vodafone scam?

these geeks have been calling my missus for about 2 weeks.  she asked to be taken off their list several times but she still recieves the calls.   She spoke to one of the supervisors today called `Matt` who would not give his full name.  He ended up saying ` the police would laugh at me and you would be wasting your fuc`kin time`` when she said she was going to the police. Nice one Matt, you really do yr company credit with that attitude.  By the way keep the calls coming as we now know where you work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Standby!!!

Got a call from this number yesterday. Also got an email about it at work a few weeks ago. DO NOT ring back, the 01 number is a disguise for an 08 number that charges a fortune to call. Its a scam.

Just missed call from this number, first time. Googled it and came up with this. Really curious to know what it is though!   :)
