had a call today from this number no idea who it is..brightphone or something?? why are they phoning me? how did they get my number!!

I had a call from them yesterday and they said they wanted to sell me mobile phone insurance, I said I dont speak to people I dont know, asked who was representing. Stated Brightphone Ltd.  

Said I would check the internet and call back if interested.  Glad I checked the sight, wont be ringing back.

I also have an iphone and got call from these people today. didnt answer luckily, but its really worrying that these scammers are getting their hands on our phone numbers!

This number just called me, i answered and said hello, but no reply, so repeated saying hello, still nothing, so hung up, dunno what it was about but wont be answering again after i googl-ed their number and found this!!

we are still trying to get a refund on the insurance policies (they say i`ve taken out 2) but with no luck, they say they will get me done for fraud as i used my partners account, even tho i told the guy on the phone it was my partners account, but apparantly they have listened to the recording and at no point did i state it was my partners account........mmmmm considerin the bank card is ALWAYS in his wallet in his back pocket, i think they would`ve heard me askin for the card aswell as say it`s not my account, plus my name is not a fellas name!! anyway i asked to listen to the recordings several times and they refused point blank saying that for privacy purposes he can`t let me listen to the recorded call so i said, well isn`t it me on the recording with my partners bank details? what else would be on there that i wouldn`t know?????
i have had them phone me twice today offering me phone insurance, i just told them what i thought of bright phones and then the second time they called the number was wivheld!!
BEWARE!! THESE ARE TOTAL SCAMMERS!! AND TO GET OUT OF IT THEY ARE NOW BLAMIN ME SAYIN I DID TAKE 2 POLICES OUT ON 1 PHONE IN THE SAME DAY????? PLUS IF I TRY TO GET LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM THEY WILL HAVE ME UP FOR FRAUD!!

Indian call centre trying to sell mobile insurance. Called me 5 days running every time hung up on me when I answered. Finally told them to F off and they haven't called since..

hi im sorry ive not got back to anyone as i have been away on my holidays in dubi and while i was out there i had my mobile a LG Viewty stolen and as told i would be protected with the insurance from bright phone when i came home i rang their claim line and to my stisfaction they delt with my quarry with straight away their automated service was easy to use and they had a new phone through to me within 3 working days thats service not like phones 4 u or carphone or the other scammers out there

this comapny is not a scam and are trying to provide a service that everyone needs and should use

id like to point out im not in anyway conected with this company and would not
wanna give up my job that i have to work in sales if this is the slating they will get

i think people on here wanna listen to what they say more and not hear what they say

I also have been getting phone calls regularly off this number always whilst Im in work or driving, never answer, also had one off a similiar number, same area code, decided it must be some sort of sales call until I have become so fed up with these calls I searched on google and found this! Will most definetly be blocking this number, I also am too with Vodafone. If i wanted to spend anymore of the little money I have left at the end of the month I'll make that decidion myself, I do not need people harassing me with 9 phonecalls a week, for the past two weeks. Thanks for your help guys!

Just recieved a call from this number for the 10th (at least time) answered it and they said its about your mobile phone insurance I said "thanks I already have some" and hung up fingers crossed they will not ring back

I have received a phone call from this number but I don't have any insurance with them, they asked me for the details of my account to verify that I was not paying this insurance, I hanged up the phone, but they have called me like four times already since them, it's a pest.where they picked our numbers?

Whoever this number belongs to has tried to phone my Vodafone 3g modem twice.  How did they get hold of the number for THAT?  

Either way, let them waste their time.

Got a way of stopping these idiots from phoning you - for UK at least.  Look up "Telephone Preference Service" in Google - it's a database of people who choose NOT to be bothered by sales calls, etc - and Bright Phone are signed up to this.  It's a FREE service, takes up to 28 days for your number to register - but if you get bothered after this, Bright Phone - and any other unsolicited number that rings you - is breaking the law, and may be reported and prosecuted.

i used to work for brightphone they aint a scam they just going the wrong way about things they do cover for wat they say they do its just that some sales people he has there are fresh out of school and aint got a clue they do have s script but they improvise and end up [***] it all up theyre all muppets and are actually  based at 13 henley house , queensway,fforestfach,swansea so the bloke before who posted the address is full of [***] and they nowhere near  bishopston thats to classy of an area for them trust me i aint no [***] chav propably the only one with any decency out of all them i just done the job as it was money to raise my daughter x
