Caller immeadiately said 'I am not selling anything' and subsequently started asking questions about TV services. I asked him what business it was of his and he said he was with the british consumer survey. I asked where thay were based. He said Esher. I asked for the address.He said he could not give it.I indicated I was with TPS and wished to report his company who obviously were selling. He quickly said goodbye & rang off.

It's about time the TPS service/Offcom found a way to punish these anti-social companies.

I received yet another call this evening, at 9.50pm but nobody spoke.  When I tried to redial the number it was "number not recognised".  Who are these people and, do they realise that what they are doing is causing deep concern?  Why doesn't someone take notice of our comments and do something about it.

These Telepests calling from telephone number 019111112201 bug me 2 or 3 times each week. The calls started after I purchased a cheap 99p ebay item from Hong Kong. I paid with Paypal which would have given them my contact telephone number. Put them on hold and make yourself a cup of tea while they are paying for the call.

This number called earlier asking for someone I never heard of, then quoted wrong postcode for my address. I told him that was wrong and he told me to "get stuffed" and hung up.
I usually get my 4 year old to talk to them, he thinks its great

I have just had one of these guys phone me. I foolishly fell for the 'Im not selling anything' and began answering his questions. It went on for ages and he kept asking me who provided my gas, electricity, phone, tv etc. Was I a home owner, had a mortgage, what was my income etc. Some of which I refused to answer. He then slipped into the run of questions - how did I spell my first name and then what was my date of birth. I refused to answer both and then hung up - which I should have done at the beginning. He was obviously trying to find out information that he did not have - stealing my identity sprang to mind - BEWARE!! These calls seem to be from crooks who don't really care about your phone provider - they just want to know your personal details so they can rip you off!!!

I have received  2 calls today one 12 noon and one 7pm from an Asian sounding man that was not selling anything.He was doing a survey asked about TV provider and told him then he asked whether I worked or etc and told him I was not answering any personal questions and that we were TPS registered and was now hanging up.

This evening 7 pm same thing but told him had spoken to a colleague of his am and had no intention of answering any personal questions and he said why not he needed to verify so that I would get no further calls.I said who needed to and he hung up

Had a call last night from this number quite late I didn't answer it as I have caller display and didn't recognise it.  Then the number rang again at 6.58pm this evening.  I answered but they hung up!!

If you have caller recognition on your phone then all the numbers that are stored in your phone will be recognised, you answer the phone, no problem. For the numbers that are not stored or private caller or out of area calls let your answer phone kick in with the message, or something similar "If you are trying to sell me something or are begging for money or you are going to tell me that there is something wrong with my computer BUGGER OFF otherwise leave a message after the tone" If its someone you know who gets the answer phone they will leave a message if its someone you don't know and they are genuine they will leave a message, you then decide if you want to call them back, so far no messages have been left by the nuisance callers and I have had the satisfaction of telling them to bugger off and I don’t get any silent phone calls and I don’t leave myself open to any abuse, Simples! Don’t forget they are only trying to extract money from you. Don’t let your curiosity get the better of you.

4 silent calls from this number over the last week.After the first two I let it go to answer machine.
I thought that silent calls had been outlawed ?

I got a call from 019111112201 at 13.42 on the 18 Nov. 2011.
I said hello twice, just got an echo of my voice in the ear piece. I then rang off.
After looking at "Whocallsme.com" I have added the number to my Barred list on my phone.

Stop calling me everyday!!!!!

Had several of these in the past few months, the latest one a few minutes ago. I just look at the phone display, see that it is indeed this number (which cannot be recognized when you dial it to see who it was) and leave it to the answerphone. There's never any message left.

14 calls from this number today, and we are registered with TPS.  when i answer they just hang up

Caller was an Indian gentleman who seemed to want to speak to my wife, on each occasion
she passed the call to me  he then cleared the line
We have received 4 calls from this gentleman to date
