I have been contacted both on my landline number as well as on my husbands mobile by this company claiming they are contacting me on behalf of the government. They claim they are going to give me some money which i dont need to pay back as i have paid my bills and taxes on time (i knew it was a scam anyway but as soon as they mentioned the goverment wanting to give me money i thought they must think i am stupid).

Got a call from this number today, the first time from this one. I have had many calls from "International" numbers. The call asks for my wife, I than ask who is calling they tell me they are from Microsoft support team. I advise them that my wife is out and ask them if I can help. I advise the caller that I am Detective Inspector Andrews (I am not). Guess what! Yes they hang up. Now I have started getting calls from 02000000000 instead. They will get the same response.

Told me he had fixed my computer last year and he noticed it had been running slowly if you could just switch it on I'll update software for you. Yea right so you will. Eventually he hung up when I told him it's my son who uses it.

I just had a call from this number. The woman claimed to be from Microsoft. She was saying that my email was hacked and that my computer needed shutting down. I don't use a computer. I hung up. And contacted Microsoft who said that they don't contact customers only when it's initiated by the customer

Just had a call from same number. New instantly it was a scam and hung up. He rung me back 10 seconds later saying his name was robin norman (yeh right) I asked for his office number to call him back and he gave me my home number (Bafoon) I told him I did not have a computer and all internet acsess was done via tablet or phone and that I did not have a computer. He had the brass neck to call me a liar. I went on to tell him that I work for an internet fraud company and that I would personally track him down. Funny that. He hung up. Bunch of scamming W###ers. Don't get sucked in. Waste there time or screem down the phone but don't turn on your computer or give any details away.

This number has just called me saying they were from the "Internet Security Protection" and that they had arrested someone for saying that they had a medical emergency and that they needed £2000, and it had gone to loads of people from my email address on my windows computer (I'm a mac user…). On questioning further, it changed to "someone has been arrested in mexico". When pushed for further details he was very vague. At which point we decided to have fun with him- we said we ran a security company and had secure lines that were automatically traced and recorded by the security services- also told him that the "voice stress analyser" on our equipment told us he was lying! At this, he started panicking and hung up lol! Oh, also, when we asked for a company registration number, he gave 02081231479 which, surprise surprise, didn't come up on Companies House...

Got numerous missed calls from this number then answered without looking and got the chat about going into my computer to see who from Nigeria was hacking it and could see, with a camera, all my details. The guy is really persistent and 'talked to his technician' for all of 5 seconds when I asked a question he couldn't/wouldn't answer. He said was from the Anti Hacking Department of Uk and gave another number 02081231478. which I won't be contacting. Have got call barring so that number is now barred.

Had these call me today stating they are Internet Protection Service and they are investigating over 100 emails sent this morning from my email requesting money as I am ill. Told me not to access my computer until further notice and then go to my computer to supply IP address. I told them I had to go out and hung up. They recalled and spoke to my wife and sai if we did not assist they would turn up on our doorstep. Worryingly they had my name, address, phone number and email. Asked if I did online shopping or internet banking.

Had a call today. Told me my pc and email were being used for scamming people. They had my email address, my name and my home address. He ended up telling me quite aggressively that some people from the crime squad would visit my home. He hung up when I asked him to make an appointment.

Have received numerous calls from this company at all times of the day and night over the past 2 or 3 weeks.  Always foreign sounding people using very British names.  They say my email IP address has been hacked, etc, etc,  and one lady even told me that if I do not cooperate with them I will be guilty of fraud as I have sent emails from my computer asking others for money.  They wanted me to access my computer and follow their instructions.  I said the phone and the computer were in separate rooms ... and she (Rose) hung up.  I usually hang up way before this point but was hoping for some information from them to enable me to file a Fraud report.   Surely something can be done to stop these fraudsters, or at least allow the number to be blocked from ringing at my home, as oddly it is always the same number that shows on caller display. #frustratedandannoyed
