I have a call from this number at 9am this morning.  
The phone only rang once so I didn't get to answer it.
The number looks strange so I'm not calling it back in
case it cost me a fortune.

Anyone know who it is?

I was daft enough to ring it back!! Doesent take incoming calls. But the area code 020 is London. I bet its the queen playing pranks!! x

I dialled it from work so they would have to pay for it should it be a scam,  more time wasting people trying to sell me an "excellent value" credit card no doubt.

Whatever the scam is - it is still going on 3 months after Charmaine reported it aobve as I got it yesterday. I imagine it is a scam to get info on live numbers. If you call back, even though they don't accept your call it probably registers your number as live and you may well get spam texts or the like.

Missed call from the same number

I've had a call from this number today at work. For some odd reason the person was ringing from Bolton but this 02000010000 number came up, so it may be that if someone is signed up to the independent telephone calls or similar (such as onetel), it brings up the number above?  The call was from a normal house so nothing to do with business.

Strangely I had another call this afternoon from this number. I asked the person calling if she knew why the number had come up on caller display and she said she was making the call through one of the cheap telephone call companies via an access number, so I think it probably clears up what's going on with this number now!! At least we know it's not telesales or a scam!

Received call from this number.  Someone from BBT recruitment agency was on the other side.  It's probably a cheap telephone company that various organisations are using.

Had a call today from that number, infact I had several calls, I didnt answer as the number was suspiscous looking , My  wife took the call  and  it turned out to be a friend  calling via a cheap call number from Spain.

Had a call early this morning from this number. It was a young lady (sounded foreign) and after we both said hello a few times, she said she thinks she has the wrong number.
