Report a phone call from 02030263650 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- RocketSteveJust made a complaint on the TPS website. Maybe they'll call them and do something about it..
- Caller: Spammers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Kevin PryerDo not press any buttons if you get a call from this number it is a scam
- Call type: Telemarketer
- doodles| 1 replyI have received a call from this number while I was out, on the answer phone and without thinking I did dial 9. can anyone tell me if the scam is likely to affect my phone calls or bills or if I am likely to get any after effects from it.
- Caller: unknown
- Welsh Chris replies to doodlesIf you pressed 9 when listening to the message recorded on your answerphone, nothing will happen. If you press 9 while listening to the message "live" it's a different matter. There are all sorts of stories about how this connects you to a premium rate line an runs up a very large phone bill. I don't know if they're true or not, more likely you'll be connected to someone who'll try to sell you something.
- N BucksI had a message waiting from this number. I dialed 1571 followed by 3 when I heard "congratulations"which deleted the message.
- cossyi have just had an answer meaasge saying i have won a holiday and to press 9, dont know how they got my number because i am ex-directory
- 'Dave' (I think)Just had a call from this number. I won't reveal the time they called as I worry they would be able to identify me from that and increase the number of times they call. Thankfully wasn't able to answer the phone anyway but heard answer-phone picking up the call. Clearly they are total amateurs as answer-phone only got part of the message (clearly their automated message reacts to any voice and then talks over you - how rude!!). All that the answer-phone picked up was;
"claim your prize, Press 9 now before it's too late. Choose to celebrate Disneyworld's 40th Anniversary in magical Orlando, Florida or enjoy a week of sun & fun on the white sand beaches of Cancún, Mexico. This is your last chance to press 9 and claim your holiday. Only the first 100 who respond will win. Press 9 now, that's the 9 key, press it now. If not interested press 3 to be removed from future offers".
Nice to know they think I'm totally [***] and don't know what press 9 means or what 9 they mean.
Am on TPS so, as it seems like they're calling from London, I think I shall be reporting these schmucks.
Even if I was actually 'live' on the phone to press a button I wouldn't press 3. The trick with that is if you press 9 (or probably also 3) you are consenting to them contacting you in future. It's a bit like submitting your eMail address to some online newsletter, as soon as you've submitted it you're consenting to being contacted and/or signing up to something. Of course it is possible that you are transferred to a premium rate telephone number which I'd consider as illegal since they haven't advised of the cost of that.
These schmucks will be paying for this if it's the last thing I do (before I go out on the lash).- Call type: Telemarketer
- RonEMissed call so can't add any more details.
Number added to my blocked caller list. Scumbags- Caller: Not Known
- DachseJust had this call same as 'Dave' above. Like him I wouldn't dare to press 3 to 'be removed form future offers' just hang up.
I'm TPS registered and ex-directory but these w4nkers still manage to get through. - steveI live in a block of flats where there are a few vulnerable people, who may
press 9 without thinking, cant we put these scroungers out of
business.- Caller: not known
- Bill SThe calls are clearly computer generated and it doesn't matter whether you are in a directory or not. I have had a "congratulations" call at least once a month for some time, which is very tedious but, so far, it has not been in the middle of the night. Why can't the number be blocked?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MartinEven though I have registered with TPS I still get 2/3 calls a week tellinfg me I have won a holiday (yeah, right)
- Caller: Unkonown
- BernieVI got a similar call from this number this evening.
- Caller: Didn't find out
- DaveJust had this call, hung up straight away. I went to dial 1471 for the number and the recorded message was still playing as I was dialing 1471 which then changed to 'thankyou'. What did I do? Hope I don't get more of these nuisance calls.
- Caller: Unknown
- Chas| 1 replyI've had a number of these "press 9 you've won something" type calls - I'm not amused as they are always left on my answering machine and telling an automated message that I signed up with the TPS isn't going to get me anywhere. What if Eva Longoria were trying to phone me at the same time !. This is the first time I've bothered to find the number so I can't say they are all from the same source. Annoying or what.
- Caller: Unknown
- nightwing replies to Chasthe number can't be blocked if they are using something like a Mellitta predictive dialler.
it's outwith the TPS - it's programmed to dial every number after the target area code, and stores when it gets an analogues response, ie a human voice.
if you engage with the call, press 9 or 3, it assumes that there may be someone else in the household who may be interested in its products or services, and will deffo call again.
you mite either be forwarded to a premium rate service, where the operator's job is to keep you on the fone as long as possible, mebbe "trying to save you money" etc - you most prolly can have the cruise, but there's just a little registration fee.. - SickofrubbishcallsYet again I appear to have been called by "silence". This time I said, "Would you like me to transfer you to Police HQ? (My phone unit will do that, but I didn't actually have the transfer number to hand at the time, which was a shame). I am told that such calls are random generated so cannot be stopped by BT. As my husband died recently I am a bit jumpy and object to calls I don't want. Twice my phone has rung 13 times over one afternoon and evening period, not all calls I don't want, so I now leave the phone unanswered and the genuine callers leave me a message to call them back. I am ex directory and have selective callers.

- Places2fishThese numbers keeps coming up, 02030263650 + 08451800158 obviously a scam of some sort, I can't believe the phone companies can't stop them, but of course they make money out of it as well. Reporting to TPS as I am already registered with them, may write to my MP as well.
- Caller: 02030263650 + 08451800158
