Took a call from these ppl about debt consolidation. The only way I find to now get the message across is to be rude to them. When the person from the company called aspire told me what she called me for I told her “I'm not interested”. After a long pause she asked y I'm not interested, I said cos I'm not. She got the message and hung up. Result

The same story happened to me, when I picked up my phone I could hear just silence. I never called them back – not sure that they wouldn’t charge as for premium rate...

I got call from 02030598903 several times. The caller said they can reduce my debt. however, they need my card details as well. I told him to send me all the papers how it works but he denied and said without the card details they cannot proceed. I thought there is something wrong.   Why is it necessary to give the card details??????

Report the calls, especially silent ones, to Ofcom. They are cracking down on this an have changed the law so companies doing this can now be fined upto £2 million. Barclaycard are currently the company with the biggest fine of £50,000 befor the limit was upped.

It is run by the Broadstock family and the tedious calls are provided by Curved Air Global in Manchester.
Their accounts are overdue so best avoided:

Curved Air Global only commenced trading in April 2009 and has not yet filed accounts (which are now overdue at Companies House). There are two directors comprising William Duncan Taylor aged 58 and Diane Taylor aged 29 (presumably WDT daughter). DWT owns all of the shares in the company (which are a modest 100 £1 ordinaries). DWT is also involved with ten (!) other companies and a further 7 companies now dissolved - so "experienced" putting it kindly. His address is Rushmere Lodge, Beauty Bank, Northwich CW8 2BP. I haven't bothered/got the time to search his phone no. However Diane 's address is Apartment 1101,18 Leftbank,Manchester M£ 3AL and her phone no is 0161 830 7305. Suggest that if people are bothered henceforth they phone either one of the directors and provide them with the benefit of a direct and personal response to their company's market research questionnaire.

I too got a call from Curved Air.  It is a waste of time writing to them or the TPS - the fact is that these companies should not be calling people registered with the TPS in the first place.  After a lot of complaining de-registering etc, they will probably stop - but what a lot of trouble we go to in order to achieve that, and the cost to them is nothing.  My suggestion is to contact their clients and to say that as a result of the calls from Curved Air (whom they have employed), we will specifically not be using their services.  Their website has case studies for Homebuy and Peel Holdings as well as a Charity called Five Stars who are sponsored and supported by companies such as Manchester City, Bentley, Hard Rock Cafe, Mercedes-Benz, etc. etc.  They are also on Bt Trade Space, and BT should know better.  I am sure an internet search will throw up more companies too.

My guess is that a stream of emails to all these companies will lead them to ask Curved Air WTF is going on and may cause them to pull their contracts.  At the very least, Curved Air will not be pleased.  This I think is the only way to get this sorted, i.e. if us going through the TPS isn't going to cost them money, then this might and should make them and their clients think again about how they do business.

This scamming obviously pays off; look at this. Must have been where they held their swinging orgies last year. Read it in the local rag up here.
