Had a call from this number as well and made the calling me hang up!! Well it's good if you play them at their game, don't know who they are or how they got my details which is worrying, I'm quite sure they've hacked or are hackers, when I called out their technician for what they'd done to get access to my details HE hung up!

One of many calls telling me there is a fault with my computer. I gather from other sources they ask for money to fix it but I always fob them off by telling them my son who is an IT consultant will look into it,which seems to shut them up.  However I have had similar calls from other numbers.

The advice I have had is that Microsoft would not call and this is a scam, on no account to give them any money.

They are conning [***] but unfortunately no one in any uk organisation can to bothered to take these scammers on and so it will go on and on and on.
Just enjoy the ride as you try and screw up their day.Try and sell them something of yours when they ring, like a bike or a bed or something.

Scammers - claiming that I have an infected PC (odd as I have a mac!). Knew my name, address & tel no I kept them yapping & busy for 15 minutes, till I told them to bog off!

'Microsoft support centre' scam continues, and takes turn for worse

I love these people.  They are such thick skinned prats and will stay on the line for 1 hr whilst I waste their time being stupid and generally useless.  

They say "Windows licence has expired" and I need to extend it by 2, 5yrs or for lifetime and they can do that for a fee £150 +  Yeh, and the moon is made of cheese

It usually ends when I discover that I do not have and credit or debit cards.  That's 60 m,ins when they cannot con someone else

P.S. I must get a premium rate No. [090...] so they can call back later
