I have made a terrible mistake, I thought the worst when I made my original post.
Having now been placed with this company in a role based in Bristol as a trainee Financial advisor with a recruitment agent that they work with i have a complete understanding of what they advised me to do from the start. They helped me get funding for my certificates and they provided me with interview preparation.
I made a huge error and this company is actually very good at what they do and should should only make a comment on this company once you have used their services.

monster recruitment network are a recruitment firm who tries selling their training courses to graduates, the jobs on their website have been on there for months and months just for 'show'...this is part of their scam to target people who have a keen interest in the finance sector ask you blunt questions and then state your perfect for the role but one thing is lacking in your CV which is the training course CEFA/DIPFA and  AFTER they put you on hold or call you back later and tell you not to worry but they will help you to achieve this qualification- then they direct you to their training section: monsterrecruitmentnetwork.com...
Overall, don't get fooled by MONSTER RECRUITMENT NETWORK! i can also see they have changed their 'office' number it was: 020 32396441 and now its 02031376136

i have just had the same call! Girl rang up and went through my cv for job that im clearly under qualified for but i can proceed to the next round if i buy the first level of training. sounds too suspicious, usually if its too good to be true then it is.

They just called me and run me through the same steps. My CV was great, my experience was great, just one thing missing from my CV. I was told they will call me back to check if they can proceed with my application. Then a second phone call few minutes later with the "GOOD NEWS", they will be able to put me forward, I just need a course/qualification, ideally from their website, pay, send the receipt through and add the course to your CV (to show that you are studying), thats all :)). Also if you lucky to get an email from them, you will only get first name of the sender. I hope this helps.

I got the phone call from them as well from 0203137 6136 and they arranged pre-selection telephone interview with me this week.  However, luckily I read all the useful comments from this website and realise this firm is SCAM.  Then I dont need to waste my time with them.

Just spoke to someone from Monster Recruitment Network also. Massive scam, same thing happened for me as did for Alice. I have noticed that the employees at the company seem to be the only ones reporting a good experience and I believe the "Dan" guy who completely changed his view is also an employee. Massive scam. Waste of time.

Monster recruitment network is a Huge Scam. Beware. How can you pay money to a person you cant see and you cant even visit his office.

U're right natalie. Monster Recruitment Network is an organisation run by crooks and these crooks are the ones writing good reviews on this site. Have nothing to do with the company please.

ok, i'm a window with three kids and worked for a fortune 500 company.  the other day i posted my resume to the recruiter network site and received a memo that I was selected to have an interview for a work from home customer service job. I went through the interview, however, it was an online interview.... Bells should have gone off then.....They sent me an actual link to an actual employment company and told me I was hired. 23 an hour as a contractor.  They said I would have two weeks of training and that the company would supply me with a laptop, printer etc.... The very next day, I receive a check for 2400 and this "make believe supervisor" asks me to deposit the check into my account. They then ask me if I have enough to clear the check and want to get started with work right away to go to another bank and deposit money into a specific account.  Now it finally dawns on "nucklehead" this is a scam.  I call my bank right away and sure enough the "check that they said was as good as cash"  was such a good fake not even the teller at the bank recognized it.  I saved all of the notes etc... and will give the info to the proper authorities just wanted to post this so no one else gets scammed.

SCAM COMPANY: MONSTER RECRUITMENT AGENCY ?
I applied for a job on posted by the above agency through totaljob and they called me few laters and conducted a telephone interview and ask me to hold on afterwards. The lady returned and congratulated me that i have been successful and requested i pay £150 towards a course material which is a prerequisite for the job. I made the payment and they confirmed it and wrote to them asking what would be next step but they fail to reply again.

I then did some findings through the web and it dawned on me that i was scammed. After several emails requesting for my payment , they replied and said the payment cannot be refunded. They never pick their calls. I have reported this to the Action fraud but nothing is coming out of it.

I reported as well to totaljob but totaljob said they could not help since the company is a registered company. I search on the company register list and found that they are using fake addresses to register and they have no address on their website www.monsterrecruitmentagency.com

They are also MONSTER RECRUITMENT NETWORK , another name they use to scam people on the WEB.
They gave a llodystsb account details and i reported to lloydstsb as well maybe they could track the account details but could not help and said because i made the transfer to them directly. Can anyone please advised on how to get hold of this people or what next to do.
