The firm responsible for power cuts have traced it to my phone number. Asked me to press 1. Wtf. I did't bother and hung up.

rang me and answer took over ,saying power cut in your area but i couldnt cancel call, the post code they give was totally wrong

started ringing last week. Don't know who it is.

Just after power cut got recorded message.from this number saying linked to my address press.1 totally out of orderdont press any buttons hung up. If genuine this is bloody out of order with all the scams we.are advised not to press any buttons

Update. This is genuine,phone power company who confirmed. Told them they are.idiots with all the scams telling.people to press1,why the hello cannot the recorded message just say there is a power cut and we are aware.

Must be a scam.
Each time there is a power cut I get a call from this number immediately upon the power being restored.
Message left  on answer machine  quotes my postcode, and tells me to press 1.

Received a call from 02032820650 on 10 November 2023, but did not experience a power cut, so am NOT able to confirm that this is genuinely a call from UK Power Networks. The caller rang while I was out, but did not leave  message.

Gotta be Scam...
