I got two in the last 2 hours from the number 02034 682659

I received a call from 02034760732, they left no message. How can I stop nuisance calls like this?

keep getting calls from this number 02034795114 at least 3 times a day every day it is really annoying like being stalked as no message is left and just silence.

Also been getting them for about 3 weeks now on my mobile, number is 02034762299. Pain in the ass!

This number keeps calling me 02034639180 , who is it ?

I have just got a call asking me to confirm wether I have had a credit card stolen in the last few months from this number 02034 322306

This number 02034 760777 keeps ringing me,  its been ringing me for a few weeks now. Does anyone know what it is?

Such numbers are often outworkers for foreign call centres, often Indian, but can live in UK, finding people who have been involved in accidents so they can process your claim. A scam of course. The best way to put them off is or course that you haven't hed an accident or just wrong number or wrone name it - but don't give a real name. But they can be persistent, especially if you have answered; and even if you haven't, if they think they might have a lead, they will keep trying.
The best way then is to waste their time. Say something like: "Hold on please" or "just a minute I'll get him for you", put the phone against the hifi, and leave them dangling. The problem with 02034 incomplete numbers is that using 1471 comes up with an unrecognised number because it is often incomplete. BT might be able to trace it.
The best way to avoid most ghost or cold callings, junk mail or fax calls in the middle of the night (some companies may mistakenly have you listed as a fax number and their automated fax technology calls you during the night so as not to take up their daytime operations) is to go on the telephone (TPS), mail and fax preference lists. It's completely free; cuts your cold calls, junk mail and fax machines screaming at you. If the origin is under UK jurisdiction they can be prosecuted.

got  a call from 02034 762862 and rang off as I lifted the receiver

Just had a call from 02034 760 777.  Silence, then caller hung up.

here is another number to add to the list: 02034 760842 they just hang up when I pick up the receiver -what is the deal with that???

I got a call at 5am from 02034 550261.  A computerised voice said something about a wrong extension.

Had one at about 1.30 am from 02034 550239 rang about 4 times then cut off

I just got a call from 02034 760492. Turns out it was from a dog protection charity that I sponsor so it was legitimate.

Calling my 92 yrd old Mother asking for debit card details as they could offer 40% reduction in her bills! Even my mother recognised that BGas NEVER reduce bills let alone by 40%!!

Anyway she was pressurised to give number on reverse but couldn't see it so didn't give it!!

Voice was Asian and very insistant - interesting to note that previous posts show asian connections.
