2 cold calls within a few weeks. Obviously knew nothing about accident but were fishing for more information. Both callers had a scouse accent and didn't sound very clever. They hung up as soon as I started asking questions. Said they were from follow up services, but did not say how they got my information or number. Second call was from 0000000000. I think they are a con.

Had two calls from this company claiming to be in association with my car insurers about an accident claim a year ago. One last Friday another today. Both told no compensation due no one in car at time and to not call again as my phone numbers were both registered with TPS. Called my insurer would seem there has been a breach in their data protection policy and am now waiting for a callback to discuss it and make a report.
If you get one of these calls report it to your insurer it's the only way to get these people stopped. Someone sells them our numbers which is illegal under Dats Protection Act. You'll know youv'e hit the spot when you hear the panic in the voice of your insurance companies employees.

Keep getting silent calls from this number wish these IDIOTS would take the hint

I had a missed call from this number and I have did the foolish thing and returned the call.  I have just found out that this will have cost me a small fortune.  If you receive a call from this number do not answer it.

Had a call from this company this morning about an accident 2 years ago. Told them that i was uninjured and wouldn't need to claim compensation. Then had another call from them this afternoon, this time i told them it was a wrong number and that i had never heard of the guy they were asking for.

I hope that's the end of it. These are ambulance chasers - it's not enough there all over the tv with soppy commercials now there buying personal data and cold calling you at home.

If i had genuine cause for compensation i wouldn't do business with a company that cold called me.

Thinking about it i also had a number of texts around the time of the accident to a different mobile number i was using at the time. Now that i am getting calls to this new number means it must be a data breach at my insurance company - how else would they have current contact details for me?

I've had a few missed calls from this number, still haven't answered it as I always seem to get random phone numbers calling me (I wish I knew where they all got my number!!)... had a quick look on here, by the sounds of it it's a scam to do with car accidents? Well, either way I wont be calling them back. If it was important they would have left a message, PLUS I haven't even had an accident ever let alone in the last three years! What a joke!
All these apparant claims that they're a genuine company written above.. haha they're all so wooden the company may as well have put their real name on the box!

I keep getting calls from this company- I believe that Morethan car insurance has given my number to lots of these companies- which I am not pleased about.

Come on now this is a classic. Did the satisfied customers leave any contact details so they can be contacted to confirm their dealings with this company? We have been contacted and the way the conversation went they are ambulance chasers, if you have got a problem contact a solicter direct

After the event services

I had a call today Monday 9 July at 11.30 am from a lady who said she was from ATE Services.  I am fed up getting cold calls despite being with the Telephone Preference Service, so I said "I've never heard of you.  What do you want?"  She replied " Don't be rude.  It's about your car.  Oh never mind"  and she hung up.  I checked 1471 and it gave me 02036174115.   I googled ATE Services and the top entry was for a company based in Leicester which offers to come to your house to fit handsfree mobile phone kits in your car.  I tried to phone 02036174115 but I was being kept on hold and decided not to waste my money.

Have just read the above posts and realise that ATE services could well be After The Event Services.  I don't want to malign a genuine company just because they came up first on Google.  I should have read all the posts first .  Sorry to the  genuine company.

I just had a call from them, the gent said his name and said he is from After The Event Services.  He was asking for the missus, by name, I said she isn't here so he said he will call her mobile.  Interesting name, so I checked on here.  No doubt I will find out from the missus what they are after.

These people have called several times they are a complete and utter nuisance

Had a call from a very rude scouse lady who spoke over me and then proceeded to tell me I was rude!

Told them I was TPS registered but she said she wasn't selling anything directly too me so that didn't work. looking to claim injuries from a claim despite no one being in the car.

It may be a legitimate business, but it's staff, methods and motives are slightly unpalatable for me.

It's companies like this who bump up the cost of our insurance policies.

Insurance companies sell injured persons details to these types of company often for as much as £300 - £400 a pop !
