Didn't say anything and silence on the line, disconnected after 10 seconds

This is a call from AO who are delivering an electrical item I ordered online.

Speak to them when they call and I'm sure they'll speak back as it's A.O.COM calling to confirm delivery etc after ordering from them, so no scam or anything here

Hung up when I answered. Automated call I guess.
Looking at others' comments, I did order and receive a delivery from AO recently so could be them?

Thank you for the helpful previous comments. Yes it was AO and it did relate to my recent order and delivery details.

This is AO. They phone to ask about the delivery of their product but also trying to hard sell you product insurance.

Very friendly caller purports to be checking all ok with delivery date etc etc but in fact is a hard sell for Domestic and General Insurance cover.  I  insisted that I did NOT want it but shall wait and see what paperwork comes through which will remain unsigned.  All products are subject to statutory guarantees so in essence the first 2 years are in my opinion worthless and unnecessary.  Did not stop the very polite caller continuing his sales pitch.

It is AO.COM confirming delivery of an order (totally legit) - however what they are actually doing is trying to sell an extended warranty.

I havent had my item delivered yet, later today and already had this number call me, wont be ordering from them again.

it is AO and I do have an order pending with them, but they wanted to speak to me to flog me insurance for the product which starts on the day of delivery in case something happens to it. I'd say obviously commission based as did the hard sell..

So I've learned from this site that this is AO, but it's disappointing to know that AO are happy to unleash a cold-calling extended warranty up-sell caller/insurance company on me, within ONE HOUR of my ordering a fridge.  Once I answered, and SILENCE.  Landline then mobile, EVERY half an hour....calls only just stopped at about 9pm.  If it's so innocent, why not leave a message.  Not impressed and won't be answering.

AO.com confirming delivery and hard selling insurance. Kept insisting that I was agreeing to buy it. An older person might have been duped, so please be aware.
