i just receiver call now asking for 50£ deposit. same number. i refused to give card number, they gived me account number and pushing me to make paiment. Sounded everything very very pushhy sale ! as i am sales trainer and recognize the tackticts.

I receive a call today from this number, it's coco models, ask me to go to studio in Manchester but first need to pay 50£ deposit.
is it true or scam?

I got a call from this same number on Wednesday the guy that I spoke to said congratulations u r 1 of the models that we need and I was jumping up and down getting excited but then the same number came up I missed the call because I was doing something so after 2min I phoned this number on the house phone every time it goes to voicemail what is going on

Francois from next generation models, apparently my son has made through to some last 20 applicants? I googled earlier and discovered all these messages, when I googled again the page source models came up, which made me very unsure. If it is a scam it’s very elaborate and very clever! I think I’ll go with my gut instinct on this which is that it’s very dubious.

Id receive a call today regarding my daughter saying how she was one out of 15 girl to have been selected was so excited everything seemed legit until he then said now we just need to make a payment of £50 deposit for our insurance in case you do not attend he said can you do this now i said no id like to do some research then ill get back to you for my sake just in case this is a scam and he then said we no scam we no [***] scam to witch my reply was well that is very unprofessional of you to swear down the phone he told me i would have an email witch will state everything i need to know before i pay i.e address of the place in london i needed to attend however the email only stated it would give me further details once I've made the payment he then called me back asking if i had made the payment yet and i told him i was not happy with what i found and i wasn't going to be making a payment he sounded a tad disappointed red flags were going off in my head !!!! Be aware

A scam they called me up asked for money and when I asked if it was,  legit he got funny and made an excuse and then hung up

You seriously asked if it was legit and expected them to tell you the truth?

I don't want to disappoint anyone, but every single person that has sent their photo will have been told they have been selected. They should never ask for money up front

I received a call from a guy saying I was selected one of twenty girls out of 95. He insisted I was very pretty, gave fake examples of what girls were making from modelling with them for H&M and Primark. Asked for a £50 deposit multiple times I said I need to go to the bank and he said he will call me again in half an hr. I searched the number found it was a scam called back to confront him and he had nothing to say apart from okay and hung up.

Francois from Lotus Models called me and said I was one of the few selected out of 100 guys. Told me what i needed to bring to the assessement aswel as requesting a £50 deposit. Turns out this is 100% a scam as I refused to pay and he said I will not get another opportunity. 1 hour later I submitted my picture again and im now one of 50 guys selected. I think hes got so many victims, hes losing track.

You are right. Modeling Scams are run by email as well.  Calls and the email exchanges are all pre-formatted and I doubt if the scammers even look at the photos. For fun, send a truly horrible photo, black out a couple of teeth, dirty face and hair, and I bet you will be on the the "selected"!

I asked for £50 Deposit then got told if it’s not paid in 24hrs they would remove me from their list which they did

Stated that was calling from a model agency named commercial models and wanted a £50 refundable deposit for a photo shoot in Manchester. French accent and was very pushy! Scam others have reported this number 02070430915

Just received a call from this number. Apparently they’re a model agency, commercial models. It’s a scam! Asked me for my 26 digit card number and expiry date.

Awful!

Called telling me i was chosen from 97 girls to come for a shoot tomorrow in London. Said I had to read the email he was about to send me quickly and he would ring back in 10 mins for my decision - no one should be rushing you like that! Rang again and I just didn't pick up.

ahahahahaha Thanks all of you! This scummer just call me with the same story,,,,,,  I wil copy and past one of your  text and send to them.
