So, 'David', you got a call today which was not from this number.......why then are you posting on here???? It's idiots like you that completely undermine the validity of sites like this. I actually DID get a call from these people today and came on here to check them out. The problem I have now thanks to cretinous comments like yours is trying to decide which comments on here are genuine and which are from their competition trying to rubbish them! Do everyone a favour,you prat,and only post about numbers you DO get a call from. What a [***]!

Same script at £99, told them about this web site and it was the 1st they've heard of it.

Picked me up from Gumtree (I've worked out).  Claimed to be selling-on sponsored links on Google.  Spoke quickly in an attempt to confuse, from an office with other fast talkers in the background.  Declined to write to me about it via e-mail, preferring instead to guide me to a website to aid explanation of the deal.  Upon learning this we pursued the matter no further. . .

Claimed his name was Craig Fearon from a company called "Levoir Websir" (I've written this phonetically, as I can't quite tell what he was saying about the names).

Quote: "We've had a first page allocation become available for a professional XXX like yourself to appear on the first page of Google for the YYY region."

There are two places where I advertise my telephone number - one is a paid entries in Yell.com & Thomson Directory, the other is on my website, so I suspect Craig was reading a script that sounded appropriate to the details that have been scooped up from either of these places.

Now, I am a professional website search engine optimiser - it's my job to be able to enhance websites so that they rank well (which my own site often does, so I don't need Levoir's service).  A couple of points from my experience:-

- You cannot pay for a first page allocation on Google search results ... unless you purchase Google Adwords service and shell out more money than your competitors on Adwords resulting in your advert appearing alongside the search results & on the first page.

- Adwords continually adjusts your position based upon quality of your keywords, advert words, appropriate website association with your topic, and the cost you pay for your position in the adverts (when compared with others who may be paying more money than you).

- Optimising your website will help - but Google's "secret" algorithm determines where you appear in search results and depending on what people are search for - you cannot pay Google for a guaranteed position!

- Mr Fearon didn't say he was selling an Adwords management service - so he may not be - but if I paid £129 (as being suggested by others) then my first page allocation via Google Adwords might last for a few months before all the money went.

I didn't get the impression that this company was claiming to be Google (like others have), so maybe their script has been updated ... but please do not fall for this service if it strikes you as a guaranteed offer.

I get at least 2 phone calls a day from this number. I have never actually answered it due to it being my mobile number. I don't own a business I'm currently unnemployed so they would have no reason to phone me.
