I received a call but missed it as I was out. They didn't bother to leave a voice message. It obviously is a scam. We are ex-directory and asked specifically for our telephone number to be on the banned list, for marketing. I believe that this is actually targeting Sky TV/phone/broadband customers, as we have also been dogged by another company offering us insurance for our Sky TV box. You don't need this service, as automatically you get 2 years cover on any product sold in the UK, by law. Report this to Sky, so that they can sort this out for you. Our phone number is a BT one through Sky, so check if this is the same for your circumstances. All the best!

The RX pharmacy number is legit, it might come up on your phone with a "+" in front of the number which looks like an overseas call, just dial 0203.... which is a local call which will route to their service desk in the US or Canada or wherever.

Hmm.. just got a call from 02075721200 and claimed they are from CMR (CM research - which are in herts) hmmm. Couldnt asnwer a single question i threw at him, sounds like a bt call centre type person needing info about if i got sky or not and the call would last 15seconds, the 25 seconds then err seconds.

So if this ligit why are they som shadey.

This  number 02075721200 said he was in bournemouth; this not the code her had lots of information on me I did not like his manner of questions ---- before I realised he had me confirming details DO NOT RESPONSE TO THIS NUMBER -- I was conned!!!!!

A "gentlemen" phoned me on this number and claimed he was updating Satellite records on behalf of SKY TV. He had part of my address but a completely different Town, (SO postcode instead of WS). I had already hung up on thim before as I belive he was going to try to sell me something despite denying it or trying to get personal information for some scam. Perhaps Sky should take note.

Got a call from this number last night - male asking if we still had a sky box - what type was our TV and how old was it, where did we buy it from - did we have sky waranty - he then went on to ask if I lived at the address he had on record.

Unsure if is was pure coincidence - but Sky had called 5 minutes earlier to do some sales talk with my husband - who was not available!

The caller from this number  was very insistent and quite pushy in ensuring he got his questions answered - when I was declining to answer

Similar situation happened to me today, from the same number asking about a sky box, type of TV, how old it was (even down to months and weeks which seems stupid), where we purchased it from etc. Asked me to confirm my name and address which he already had - slightly worrying. The caller couldn't really answer my question re what his call was related to, and put the phone down on me.
Worried!!

Caller asked if I had a warranty on my Sky box and the age and make of my television set. He knew my name and address

hi there i have recently won 70 pound on a scratch card website okscratchcards.com from 10 pound so fort briliant cant belive my luck, until  i started questioning them about my payout the have al the registered gameing licences and have a promise to release the funds within 48 hours i won on saturday and now thursday i spoke to them twice confirming details because i thought was legitimate but have been ringing me on this number have i been scamed??

Called me and asked to speak to my partner regarding Sky.  (Land line in partners name and Sky in my name so realised scam straight away). Wanted to know what make of T.V. I had as they could offer me better customer servie and products.  I asked if he was calling from Sky and he said no from a company called SRS working on behalf of CMR. I asked where he had got my info from and he hung up.  Called number back but constantly engaged.

I had 2 calls today from that number, but missed them and redialled the number, which does not receive return calls. I hope they call again so I can identify the caller and I will advise this page accordingly. Obviously some kind of scam/sales pitch.

Received Call today asking what T.V. I owned, how long I'd had it and where I purchased it from. He also knew my  name, address without me giving that information. Don't remember the name of the Company, he spoke fast with a heavy accent. It sounded like it was coming from a call centre from the background noise.

I just got a call today Sept 23, 2011. I did not hear the call so it was missed calls. But this no. +442075721200 called my cel phone 3x.

Who the [***] has this number anyway? Calling everyone around the world. Is this some kind of a caller scam like the Ethiopian numbers before??
