I had a missed call from 02077741000 yesterday morning. I looked it up on the Internet and it seems the number belongs to Goldman Sachs in London. I called the number back and when I explained what happened they said I would have to wait for the caller to call me back as this is their main number. I asked what company I had got through to and they confirmed it is Goldman Sachs.

Only question I now have is,"why are they calling me??"

Does anyone have any idea?

I also had this from the same number, when I answered nobody spoke and then they hung up and never called back. When I called the number I got the same response from the switchboard

I had a call off them today three times in a row saying they had the wrong number???

If GS are calling, it’s because you have lots of money!

The number is listed as Goldman Sachs Financial Services but call back can't confirm this.  NB:  Legitimate numbers get SPOOFED.  In fact, scammers prefer to spoof legitimate numbers because the target is more likely to fall for the scam.  If you want to do business with Goldman Sachs, call them but not to a number that cold calls you.  Never give out personal information (don't even confirm your name) on the phone unless YOU initiated the call.

I have this number 0207 774 1000 called me three times already but when I called them they never answering back or they hang up on me ???
