    The iPad2 is the second generation of the iPad, a tablet computer developed and marketed by Apple Inc. Apple unveiled the device on March 2, 2011, began selling it by website and retail stores on March 11th, and released it in worldwide on March 25th. With a large high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display, a responsive Multi-Touch screen, instant-on access, incredible battery life and an amazing set of applications available right out of the box, SSC Marketing have said that the “iPad is unlike anything the workforce has ever experienced before” with incredible applications like Mail, Calendar, Notes and Safari in a beautiful, thin and light design, so you stay productive anywhere. The front-facing camera, for video conferencing, is VGA – and also works as a stills camera. Now it has cameras, the iPad 2 joins the iPhone 4 and iPod touch in getting FaceTime, Apple’s video chat app. In tests – calling an iPhone 4 from an iPad 2, it worked very well. While the picture quality was not pin-sharp, the call was smooth and uninterrupted. It’s easy to see this being an excellent accessory to people who travel a lot or those whose friends and family are far away.

    SSC Marketing, Shand Street, London Bridge- Working with make-up? I have to admit, I was duped. The simple fact being that I'm a student running into debt and desperate for a job.

    Like all the other stories, I got an email, (addressed to "anna", they couldn't even be bothered to capitalise my damn name, already, warning bells...).

    Went to the meeting, where they had 2 of us, interviewed by Managing Director Sophinna Asif. She sped through everything, asked ridiculously vague questions that meant she clearly hadn't even sniffed my CV. I was repeatedly asked at every opportunity to write down my mobile number for them (which is clearly written at the top of my CV). After her regurgitation and rather sloppy diagram of what I think she thought was some kind of business plan, she abruptly shook my hand and told me they'd be in touch. No mention of wage, what the role involved ect... Just the throwing around of what other people are making, and how much of an opportunity it would be... smelling BS here.

    I let it slide, stupidly, and agreed to go to a 2nd interview, which they call an 'Open Day'. Basically sitting around watching very desperate people sell to 'customers' who clearly did not want to buy a cheap and tacky make-up set, for themselves, their wife, daughter, girlfriend, niece ect. It was only at about 5 O'clock, after 8 hours of being with these people, that any of my questions concerning wages, which were previously wholeheartedly and meticulously dodged, got any closer to being answered.

    I was drawn a shoddy diagram of apparently how the sales were broken down, again, accompanied by the super fast incomprehensible drivel. Something about £5 here and there, and £15 there, and times that by the amount of sales average and BOOM! I'M GONNA BE RICH. I questioned her further, and explained that no one in their right mind would take a job that had no guarantee of an income, and having observed her and her team all day, they had made a total of about 6 sales between them. All terrible market plans and it was actually that moment that my brain switched off.

    After that, I thought I had come all that way, and that I should have fun with it. I asked more questions, often in front of potential customers, about potential sales, where the product is actually from, why does it say "made in China" if the brand is a bonafide American company, why does it look so cheap if it is indeed worth £60 ect. They weren't very happy, needless to say, however they did divulge some of their disgusting sales techniques.

    Despite all of this, I went into my final interview and basically regurgitated everything that was said to me by my trainer, and low and behold, I'm now a proud member of SSC Marketing!

    I wonder how many phone calls I'm going to be getting before 9am this morning? Haha, I better turn my phone off if I want to enjoy my well earned lie-in, eh?
