This caller suggested there was a problem with my computer. He spoke with an Indian dialect. Having had my computer scanned and no threats found ,I would very much like to know who phoned me?

Call from an Indian gentleman purportedly from Windows, regarding "my Windows computer". I asked him if he worked for Microsoft and he said "no, Windows". When I pointed out that Windows was a Microsoft product, not a company, he rang off.

Received a call from 02079760439, at 09-54hrs today, caller asked: Are you the homeowner? Reply: No.  Caller asked: Are you a member of the family? Reply: No. Caller said: Then who the f*** are you. Then repeated, Then who the f*** are you, then rang off.  This is a first for me with bad language, an asian accent. Have now barred this number,

Extremely argumentative man called and got quite aggressive when I declined to answer his questions.  Shocking !!

Man with an Indian accent called my home phone saying he was calling from the World Wide Web server about a problem with my computer. I told him I had heard about people like him ringing people to try to get into their computers and steal their passwords and that he should be ashamed of himself. I then hung up.
'Call Type' on this 'who calls me' website ought to have an option for 'Scam' as it is hardly a prank. These people are not pranksters, they are criminals.

Received call, telling me they had received an error report from my computer. They refused to give me their number so I put down the phone. It rang again I did not answer and caller did not leave message. 1471 revealed the call was from 02079760439 so I didn't return the call.

Me too - just now -as soon as I hear the silence I hang up!

Yet another silent nuisance call from 02079760439.  Got the number after dialling 1471 as they didn't leave their number.

Just had a call from this number - a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from "the World Wide Web". Tried to find out what the organisation was, and he kept saying they were from the world wide web and that if I refused to let him help me "fix" my computer that I would be disconnected from the internet etc.

Very argumentative and talked a lot of nonsense.

I have received 4 calls in the last 2 days,the reference wasabuot a supposed motor accident
   I asked for details ,he then hung up.

this number has called several times recently,saying they believe i had been involved in a motor accident recently.not true.

Same just happened to me.  When I said I'd pass the details onto the police, he said the children of the Britich Police, Interpol and the FBI played in his back yard.  The first call was from 0686837433, but when I got cross and hung up, the 0207 number called me back, same bloke, same conversation.

Ha got a call from the company that owns the world wide web apparently (imposable by the way). Shame they called a web developer lmfao

this number called today, and apparently I am having some security problems with my computer that they can help me with!!!   the call ended/we got cut off, before the foreign man could try to persuade me to log on so he can access my computer. He said he was from the world wide web (!) I've had these sort of calls before, but they have never had a number when I do 1471

I was called by a man with an Indian accent. He said he was from the world wide web and unless I switched my computer on I would be blocked from using the web. Apparently half my services had been disconnected by them for my own safety. I replied that I had heard of this scam and would not comply. He was very persidtent and I had to hang up, I was immediately called back form an unavailable number which I did not answer.
