I have been ripped off by these idiots.I'm trying to get money back how have you got on

you will get your money back by making a complaint direct to google as advised at the start of this thread, I did the same thing and got good feedback from Google who were very happy to help me

Make sure Google know that they guaranteed you a page one position ( this is strictly forbidden and impossible to guarantee) Google will make them refund your money , social search ltd told me that Google actually endorced this sponsored links product, in fact its quite the opposite, Google do not allow anybody to guarantee a page one positions it is against their policy

Email over all the documents, however I must say we would not be 100% responsible for any legal action this may incur in the future.
The banks would want to see if you have spoken or emailed this company to solve any issues, this is the first step, if they do not wish to solve any concerns you have addressed to them, then you should contact your bank.
I am sure if you email them out-lining your concerns, they should solve any issues before it coming to myself.
The only reason I advise this, is due to the legal costs which you would have to pay, and from my experience with this company's welcome pack, they have their terms and conditions watertight.

I replied to this blog and he asked me for my card details for the refund and took more money out! This is not a solicitor, just somebody thats is taking advatage of the situation.

Turns out, he asks you for information the company sent you, then asks for "the credit card used for the transaction"

Do not email any third party emails, if you want any issues resolving, take it up with the companies Account Director, after speaking to him, our account was solved
Do not share any information other than people you know

Todd finns works for social search ltd, he is trying to stop you from contacting your card provider and Google directly and instead deal with " an independent third party" who try to scare you into not charging back due to repercussions, there are no repercussions, go straight to your bank and perform a chargeback, I have asked Todd for a phone number I can contact him on, and the name of his legal practice and law society registration, guess what.......... HE WONT PROVIDE IT, another social search ltd SCAM to keep your money

AS FOR WATERTIGHT TERMS AND CONDITIONS, evgerybody read this taken from googles own website about third party providers:

1) Third parties should at minimum provide advertisers with monthly data on AdWords costs, clicks, and impressions at the account level.

Social Search ltd will never send you a clcik report because you get very few clicks with their long tail keywords, if they dont send you a click report chargeback your payment and contact google who will deal with them. If they do send you a click report and you think they have made up the stats, send it to google they will validate it for you

Clicks: 1,400
Impressions: 12,000
Cost: $700

if any of the above information is missing you are due a refund

(2) All third parties primarily serving small to medium-sized clients are required to provide the Google Disclosure Notice.

They must email you the full google third paty policy disclaimer after EVERY payment they debit from you, if they dont , chargeback and report to google

(3) Third parties may not engage in unclear, deceptive, or harassing sales practices, including:
•Not spending a client's media budget in the agreed upon media, or deceptively diverting spend destined for AdWords inventory to other media.
•Claiming an ability to offer preferential discounts in the AdWords auction or to purchase keywords in bulk.
•Claiming to have an exemption from the AdWords auction.
•Implying that AdWords costs are based on the number of keywords selected and the budgets set.
•Suggesting to clients that Google sells AdWords for fixed prices (not through an auction or CPA process) when in fact they are not sold for fixed prices.
•Purposefully not using AdWords features that were agreed to with a client. For example, not using local geo-targeting when the client has asked you to target the ads locally.
•Advertising for or having other people take Google AdWords Certification Program exams on your behalf.
•Harassing advertisers to use your services by, for example, cold calling potential advertisers repeatedly, not respecting an advertiser's marketing or email opt-out preferences, or putting undue pressure on them to sign up or stay with your agency.


5) You may not make improper guarantees about Google to your clients, including:
•Selling AdWords as permanent positions or priority-listing, or selling AdWords as “listings” when in fact they are not.
•Misrepresenting free placement products, such as Google Places, as pay-for-insertion products.
•Confusing, intentionally or unintentionally, search results and ads.
•Claiming that you can guarantee top placements in Google, or that ads will appear in Google Search at all times.

Dont let social search ltd scare you into not making complaints and getting your money back, any of the above breaches of contract mean you are owed a complete refund, go through your bank and go through Google

I'd like to make a complaint about social search ltd reviews, social search ltd have stolen my money for a useless Facebook campaign which generated 0 clicks to my website, I never once saw my adverts and they claimed I received thousands of hits! Social search ltd reviews are a scam avoid them  they are thieves and liars

You need to report them to google ASAP using the link above which I will re post now for you. If they guaranteed a page one position on google tell google ASAP and you will get your money back within 7 days from google this company are a scam social search ltd = dotcom chrome don't let them trick you into thinking otherwise. If you make complait direct to google then google will refund your money for you. Also please post what documentation you received from them on here so the authorities can see it on the Internet, I have been scammed by social search ltd too of we all come together webcam stop others being scammed

Just charged back my money from these guys, if you paid by card just call your card provider and let them know you have been scammed and show them this thread, money is already back in my bank

Had a call from this company pretending to be google resellers. Scammers like this need shutting down

I have just been called these, the caller said she was with Google and blahh blahh.  I knew straight away it was not google because they did not know enough and something felt wrong with the call.  I came here and checked and i was right.  what worries me is that they are now saying they ARE google.

Scam all over it , scam artist and bigamists

These guys rang me offering me a new cms product, the system looks great but i later found out from my web developer, wordpress and joomla have the exact same free of charge.
I am disappointed in social search.

Manchester is a hot bed for scam companies like this, various companies were taken to court and closed down by Google last year, make the complaint to Google, Google will act upon it
