asian guy called kieth from a company called www asked if i was using my computer as it had a virus and needed two minutes to run through the issue. at this point i was in fits of laughter and he hung up what a plonker!

I've had 4 calls in succession from these people today claiming they're in Greater Manchester but calling from a greater London number.

'Philip' was the one to call me too, not always entirely comprehensible but clearly trying to baffle with jargon, apparently calling from the world wide web (!).

The third time I asked to speak to his manager who gave me a different variation on the name, this time World Wide Web Cyber Security.

I'm feeling really angry right now, not only because it's so clearly some kind of scam but the audacity at phoning back again and again and pushing the issue after I told them this was clearly rubbish and wasting my time.

I've just about had enough of these *!"&%# . They stopped ringing a while back,started again, stopped and have now started again. Will someone please do something about it. I've been told not to answer the phone,but could end up missing a very important call. I'm not elderly, but have had a stroke and finding this extremely destressing.

got a call twice today everytime i answer it then goes dead

This number called 4 times today whilst I was out. I tried to call the number back, but i was told it was not a recognised number. They rang again so i answered, an asian guy said he was from "Your PC Master" & my computer has a virus. I told him to call back when my husband is home and he said my computer would not survive until then.......He then said that if i was not prepared to switch my computer on & check the viruses he would not take responsibility for my computer when my hard drive crashed and I could not retrieve anything......

Three calls yesterday and another this morning, caller hangs up on answer. Any ideas who it is?

I was called today at 6.25pm.
When I picked up, there were a few seconds of silence, followed by a contiuous tone.
I phoned back but the number was not reecognised!

This is a total scam. Trying to sell you something to resolve a so called problem that does not exist. Hang up.

so many calls from this number, quiet and then just hangs up, getting fed up with this now.

Receiving about four calls per day.  We have caller ID on our phone so do not answer.

Have tried to return phone call  but number is not recognised.

just had guy call from this number. i always act stupid - then i take great delight in telling him that i haven't a computer and he hangs up - lets hope he takes note for future ref.  scammers. how can we get rid of such scum????

I have answered calls from them twice - both times they have hung up.

They called  trying to sell computer maintenance which I told them would be impossible as I don't have a computer but they ignore what you say and keep calling. The next time is to threaten them with Oftel and test their reaction. Nice challenge this one!

Rang twice yesterday and three times yesterday but no-one was home. Tried ringing back but got an unidentified number tone!

I've had similar calls all week.  Not sure if its from the same number but the speel is the same. It first started after I advertised my car in a national car trading magazine

Foreign man phoned and asked if I had a computer, then hung up.

recieved  a call specking in a indian accent my computer as got a vires

had call from indian sounding guy stating calling from worldwide web and that my computer was sending error messages and asked was computer running told him no and was told to turn on computer surley if he's from the world wide web he would have been able to tell my computer was running didn't believe and when challenge he hung up various relatives have had similar calls

I was woken up at 4.39 this morning: no joke!
