They rang me. I have only used my mobile number for an itv competition by text, so it looks as though itv are passing my number onto loan companies - this is the second company to contact me!

I'm concerned as I had a txt saying that Andrew we've approved you click to sign contract and there was a link I'm definitely not Andrew I certainly don't want a pay day loan and how have they got my number also worried they may have my bank details I kept the message as I'm going to my bank this morning I've also had another worrying txt congratulations Andrew you have been approved by mr lender we need to check your bank details to deposit your funds I've had a phone call within this time and that's how I've found this site I am concerned has this scenario happened to anyone else or was it just the phone calls and no texts

a loan company. the number of times they are calling is nuisance, bordering on criminal :-(

l have received several calls from this number...l would like it to stop; it is very annoying...

Sick of these intrusive calls, absolutely sick of them. When are telephone companies going to get a grip and sort these people out? Calls as early as 8am ish on the only days I have a lie in, it's out of order. Something has to be done!

Telephone Companies get paid for every call they deliver to your phone.   It is not in their interests to do what you want.

Rang twice 09:00 & 09:12 on a Sunday morning no response when we picked up.
Where do these people get our ex-directory number I'm sick and tired of unsolicited phone calls so much so that now I have all landline calls at my business are diverted to my mobile which has call blocking facility. I very politely tell them I'm busy and to ring back tomorrow then block the number. If they call again I just block that also. I don't answer 0800, 0845 or no caller id.

being ex-D is meaningless, you're in the same boat as the rest when telemarketers use automatic dialling systems that just trawl thru lists of exchanges till they get a hit

I used to work for a payday lending company and because they usually required the money urgently,( same day) the only way we could verify that they were in employment was to telephone their employer and ask for them, most of the time we didn't say the company we were working for, just used the initials. People who find themselves in these situations don't want people to know, so deny all knowledge of knowing them.

It's Mr Lender.  If you are an employer they do telephone checks to ensure the person applying for a loan works for the company they have stated.

This number has rang twice today first time 8 30 this morning i phoned them back and asked asked them where they had our number from as we x directory and said wouldnt give me any details apart from someome must have applied for a loan from this number but wouldnt say who it was so told them not ring as we on tps and to not ring again ! Anyway 5 mins ago phone rang again hubby picked up but nobody  there! so again i 1471 and again same number but asked to speak my daughter after giving them our postcode and she swears blind to them she has not applied for a loan with them so are going to close down her application she said good do that and they put phone down on her !!!!

this number is linked to identity theft 4 loans made in an employee name within hours of phone call

Called and said nothing so we search it and they found this but they were quite and breathing down the phone and befor this we have been getting the same person calling us on different numbers so is this them??
