I just received a call from 0215678952. I could not make out the name of the company he said he was calling from. He said he was calling with regards to a  loan I had taken out in the past and had overpaid  £3000.  I then interrupted him and told him this is a scam call and he would not be receiving my account details . Then I hung up !

This number called 11.01.16 claiming to be from BT and I was due compensation. Obvious straight away it was a scam. He asked if I lived at a house number and postcode to confirm I was the right person. It was an address I have not lived at for 7 years and when I told him I did not live at that address he just carried on. I told him he clearly had the wrong person and then he hung up. I noticed a missed call this morning from the same number, no doubt they would have tried a different tactic. I have purchased a nuisance blocker phone and put them on the blocked list.

I was called today at 2.10 the Indian / Asian man asked for a member of my family. When I said they were not available and asked who wanted them they stayed on the phone for a few minutes without answering or talking then cut off. Done 1471 to get the number. I haven't obviously phoned back but thought I would investigate.
How did they get our number in the first place?

Really abusive told me I was wasting his time told me to **** off.

Indian accent with English name = scam. Was expecting Windows Support but money refund is new one to me.

This number has been calling me several times a day for the last few weeks. They know my name, address and date of birth. Told me I was owed PPI from a bank loan I had in 2004, I played along (but gave no details) and I was put through to his colleague 'Kevin' - who told me his name was 'Steven' (ignored me when I asked where Kevin was). I hung up as had to go out and immediately I got several calls back from this number. Just called again today.

Foreign gentleman possibly Indian went by the name of Ryan Parker, but couldn't remember if his name was James later on, told me I had taken a loan out and paid it back, but I had to prompt him with which bank as they couldn't tell me due to data protection. Says I was owed money back from PPI.
Load of rubbish but I went along with it to waste their time.
I cannot find a company called Consumer Plus who deal with PPI on the internet. What a surprise.

Called today by this company Rob Daniels, they had a lot of details about a supposed loan I had for a
car, advised me to lie and say was from a bank not a car dealership. They knew amount and duration of loan,
they hung up when I asked how they had got mu number

Very aggressive caller... Would be alarming for vulnerable people. PPI scam. He shouted and ranted at me demanding details...to which I responded in kind. He hung up. I did not ring the number from 1471 as it could have ended up costing me a fortune, which is another trick of these fraudsters.. Great that there's this website tho.

Had a call 0215678952 Company called PPI Reclaims - Thick Asian accent he said I had a loan for a car from Lloyds TSB and I would recieve paperwork tomorrow to complete the claim. He was very insistant that i lie on the form. I ceased the call. Be aware of these scams!!!

Called me at 15.30 today and informed me the I was having difficulty paying my debts....pulled the plug when I said, "You must be joking.I don't have debts!" Which is true.

I was called this afternoon at 15:10 by a foreign sounding person about PPI refund, I hung up . I was recalled immediately with the words "why did you f...ing hang up you f...ing [***].

3rd time these crooks have called since 11th Jan. Obviously they are not sophisticated enough to know not to re contact people who realise what potentially thieving scum they are. This time an indian calling himself ' Kevin' from the 'Refund Group' kindly informed me I was owed money from Nat West bank ( who I've never banked with). I didn't get the chance to try to get any further details from him as he hung up quickly. I have again reported this to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. If there is an obviously traceable number I don't know why they can't be shut down before they find gullible people who they will defraud.
Please, for the sake of any potential victims, take a few minutes to report this to them and obtain a reference number. Perhaps if they get enough calls they will actually be motivated into doing something.

I've just had exactly the same call as soon as he said I was having difficultly paying my debts alarms bells rang & I said you've got the wrong number & put the phone down. I've now blocked this number.

Foreign sounding man said I was entitled to ppi refund. Knew my surname but was guessing my first name. Tried 3 names before I said you must have the wrong person & put phone down.

PPI scam again. Foreigner telling me I had taken a loan out for £4000 in 2006 paid it back in 2009 but paid an excess of PPI.
When I asked him where he got this information from he said I told him. I asked him when this could have been and he hung up.
What a shame, I wanted to keep him on the line for hours.

Any number like this is 99.9% scam call. When he asked for me by name I told him he was calling a crime scene and asked him how he knew the person he asked for. He rang off!

I received a call from this number today... I answered in a gruff voice 'hello'... he ask to speak to my mum by name and again in a gruff voice I said 'why?'... he hung up... I answer the phone to all numbers that I dont know in the same way... if they dont like it they hang up... 90% do at least... saves me time and if they are legitimate they will tell me why!! or call back...

Man asked to speak with the person who owns this phone .
I asked him why and he used the F word firing abuse at me.
He then continued to insult me with childish remarks.
I told him he was an idiot and put the phone aside until he stopped ranting and hung up.

This is not the first time I have had a call from this number, in fact on more occasions that I like. He is rude and abusive and really the police should be doing something about this.
