just got a call from thnis number, silence then a computer female voice said goodby..very strange

just had this no. call twice' no responce. is it from abroad? the dirty rotten b------s.  why dont they leave people alone' especially the elderly. Its so maddening'

just had a call from this number said they r a debt management company and asked if i had debt problems and if i was struggling to repay

I have been receiving calls from 02222222222 several times each day for the past few days. I answered the first time but no response from the other party. Have tried to phone it but number not recognised. Is this a scam???????

had 2 calls in 2 days from this number who the f**k is it. They say nothing and hang up????????

I have been having calls from 02222222222 for the last few weeks since I had my phone put on (UK landline) I have not answered it and never will as I think it is a scam

How do i stop this?

I asked Ofcom to help me trace this number (o2222222222). I have caller ID so have been hanging up when they call, but today became annoyed when they phoned whilst I was in the middle of painting a bedroom. I would like to visit them and throw rocks at their windows, but if, as someone has suggested, they are in North Africa I won't bother. Ofcom suggested this site, but this apart they cannot help. My experience mirrors every one's on this site.

Who on earth are these people? I picked the phone up....silent tone....then an automated goodbye...if I get charged for this call or if it was some money chaser from Africa I will go mad!

Got a call from this number. Chap claimed that they had received a complaint from my internet provider that my computer was slow. Could not get him to say who my internet provider was, so how could this be true. He was adamant that he was trying to help with this complaint. Kept going for over 5 minutes then he gave in. He had no idea and was obviously trying to flog something I don't want or get information so he could hack into my computer.

Don't be fooled by these unsolicited calls. If you have a problem with your computer then seek professional advise. Don't fall to these scams

These people are scammers.

They want remote access to your computer. They try to get that by saying they are from a PC  (mumble mumble) & that your computer is slow etc. They don't have a clue as they make a statement then ask for you to confirm it as they clearly don't know.

I just keep them on the phone by letting them talk then occassionally I say 'hello', 'right', 'really' etc etc When I get fed up I contardict everything they say & then they hang up. Whilst they are on the phone to me, they can't scam anyone.

If you have the patience, time & inclination, try to take up their scamming time. DON'T tell them anything about you, your computer, provider or anything else. Just say the odd meaningless word to them to keep them on the phone.

Further to my previous message, I found this advert on the internet where they admit they are scammers. Don't call the number & don't visit the website listed.

called 2014 the number is obviously back in circulation........Scamming again, don't answer or just keep them hanging on reported so will no doubt disappear again for a few years.

We had this - called to buy something, next time he called from another number, and then a third number.  All sounded very suspicious wanting delivery before payment etc so we didn't call back.  Watch out with this number...

Just had a call to my land line from 02222222222 I picked up but didn't say anything as I thought it was a strange number after a few seconds they just hung up this was the second call from them in two days - guessing they are scammers

Had a call from this number today 18.00,  asked me by name  and that they were from some kind of telecom company and of next month my telephone bills will be getting reduced!
