I  received  phone  calls  from  this  233246127276 I  don't  know  the  person  he  said  his  name  is  Mr Harrison   Xaviar   and  he  call  me  from  ghana  he  have  some  sutcases  to  pay   airoport  stamps   and  he ask  me  to  send  money  
and  to  send  money  through  the  money  gram to  .  first  time  said  3000 pounds  and  second  time  said  300 pounts   he  said  in  email  and  in  the  phone  now  i  recognise  his  tel  and  i am  not  answering  any  more.

i got call from this number everynight @ india time........

It started from a man posing as a military Sergent Major Johnson Smith in charge of Logistics in Aftghanastan via the website Perfect Match.  I had scammers after me before, however, felt that since it was the military I could go a bit further to see.  We even saw each other (or at least I thought it was him) via webcam a couple of times and yes he did look like his pictures he sent.  We chatted almost every day in the mid afternoon (was suppose to be because he had night patrol in Aftghanastan which is 9.5 hrs ahead of CST in the US.  The first sign was that he wanted to chat outside of the PM dating site.  That is so they do not have to get a membership and also not under the sites rules.  Second sign was the grammar was not that of a military person especially a Sergeant Major.  Third, it did not take long before I was a "dear".  Fourth, he wanted my address so he could have something shipped to me...start of money scam...I refused.  At the start he was to retire from the military in about a month.  This continued into the second month.  Then he supposively went on a secret mission and I went a week w/o hearing from him. Only for him to supposively to return wounded.  Of course, now he supposively had to stay a couple of weeks longer.  He stated he received a large amount of "gift" money and wanted to ship it with some clothes to me to hold until he would retire and come back to the states in a few weeks.  This is where the scam starts to get going.  He stated he hired a Benjamin Xaiver to personally take the luggage to the US to give to me.  I was not to tell him what was in the luggage except clothes and some jewelry.  He was to contact me to meet up with me for the delivery.  Two days later, after no call, Mr. so called Johnson states he will email him and have him call.  Mr. Xavier emails me and tells me that he had to fly from Aftghanastan to Dubai, and then to Ghana where they have stopped him due to the luggage having expired "stamps".  He needed 500 usd for each new stamp (3 pc. luggage = 1500 usd) or they would take the luggage from him and he could not deliver them to me in the US.  I told him I have no money and would not send any.  Then Mr. Johnson started to hound me for the funds and pleaded and pleaded for my help and that he would repay me double.  They always say they will repay double.  Xaiver kept calling me and I did not answer...the phone number was 233246127276 which is from Ghana, Africa.  I then started to do research into the supposive facts of Mr. Johnson and none came out as true.  Was not from Adelanto, CA, parents did not exist, his house did not exist, no match in any military records or military trainings, no son as was stated he had, no dead wife from cancer named Kristy, no marriage record of 22 years, etc. etc.  Then I did a search on the IP address of one of the first emails I received from Mr. so called Johnson.  You guessed it....from Ghana, Africa.  Well that ends that and no loss of money.  Anything from Africa is a SCAM....Even after I called the kettle black..i.e. chatted with Mr. Johnson one last time and informed him I knew he was a fraud and why...he has never chatted again...Mr. Xavier called me a few times til I finally answered.  He state that Mr. Johnson was flying to Ghana to get his luggage.  I told him that he needed to jump off a building and flap his arms really fast because he did not need to fly he was already there!.. I told him that he was part of the scam too..The supposively Mr. Xavier hung up.

This person/persons needs to be stopped.  Thanks to you I only fell for it for 6 days, but he/they are still doing this.  I also think Perfect Match needs to be advised about it, so they can prevent it.

Yup...I just got the same scam off Perfect Match.

Yes he is still at it...has anyone reported it to PM?  I google everyone immediately and this came up so he will get a blast from me...My best friend is the head of Euro JAG....we'll see what he does when I drop that.  That is the second one from CA and then all of a sudden Ghana I have found on PM.

I met a man on Fiftiesdating. Said he was greek, was a widow, had one son and lived and worked in London in some high flying job which I don't remember now. He moved off the dating site so we emailed each other for a few weeks but I began to be suspicious when I threw in  the odd greek word I knew but got no response. We then got to instant message each other. When I asked where abouts in London he lived his response was - Westminster. I asked whereabouts in Westminster he replied - Westminster Abbey!!  My response was to ignore him after that.

Today I have just had a phone call from him on +233246630902.
He goes by the name of Perry Samaras.  We were cut off after the first hello so I decided to come onto the net to find out where he was phoning from and found this site. Thank you. I will now be even more carefull.

i got a message from Badoo dating site, he said his name was Captain Hannett Ramos and he was stationed in Iraq, on a peacekeeping mission, we emailed back and forth and his emails were heart wrenching where he said his wife had died and he was looking for his soul mate, he went on to say he was stationed for 3 more months and would relocate if found the right woman, he then gave me this phone number and said that it was a secure line 0233278095101 which we text each other, he never asked me for anything but it was only a couple of weeks, he sent pics of this georgous guy in us army uniform an in Iraq to make the story look true. but when i spoke to a friend about it they checked the code on the phone number, as i said it seemed strange to have a mobile which was a secure line? my friend said the code was from Ghana which then the penny dropped that this was all probably a build up to a scam, i emailed him to say the game was up and that the soldier in the pics was probably some genunie guy who knew nothing about this and not to contact me again which he hasnt so far

I just got a call from a guy i met on a web site called James-he rang me from 02332 etc
He was so gorgeous-and I think I fell for him-however-he would never ring me- but he did today-he sounded part american and part foreign- he did say he was half russian-quite spooky really-am i being taken in?

I received a phone call last night from number +233266127388‏.
I have no idea who it was as it was a missed call.
It was a call to my home phone number.
I know it is a call from Ghana...and I have some ideas who this might be, but cannot prove it, because I cannot find anywhere a site for reverse look up for numbers in Ghana.
Mayba anyone hear regocnizes this number, if so, please let me know who this is.

0233 is a call from Ghana...
the one you have talked to is a scammer...be aware of that.
They will allways have the same similar story's; always living abroad, having difficulties in business, or sick relatives.....it will always end up with thefact they want your money.
Don;y go for it....you will loose.
