This is TUI UK (Thomsons Holidays) call centre.  Probably because you've book a holiday with them or made an enquiry.

Called my home land land line and then put the phone down when I answered, This site think it Thompson holidays

Phone rang and they hung up when I answered6

Tui / Thomson / First Choice - Called to check if everything still okay for holiday in 2 months' time, and also to see if I had any special requests for the hotel or wanted to upgrade seat on aircraft.

just rang me - almost broke my toe rushing to answer and then yep they hung up!!!
I do have a flight booked with them in a couple of months - very strange

Phoned back to find out there offices are closed.
I do have a holiday booked, so why phone me. !!!!!!!

Phoned me twice so far and hung up when I answered each time. It's thomson. We have a holiday booked. Did a 1471 and it says it's a courtesy call. Some courtesy call when they keep hanging up on me.

They hqave been trying to contact me all week I finally answered a call on Saturday and they were offering me an upgrade on flight with a free bottle of wine etc.   I said I would have to check with my husband they did ring me back and my husband answered the phone and they hung up

Called me but hung up when I answered. loads of other have same call so why do they bother?

Called today 25 sept and hung up. I do have a hol booked in 3 months and need to pay balance next week.
Not the first time they've done it. No surprise really, legislation needed or never give them your number!

Why does this company call me on my Mobile when I have given them a perfectly good Land line No?
They only ring me to offer an upgrade of Cabin/Room or Seat on the plane - at a price of course.
When questioned Operator just said they use mobile Nos.

They have just rang me at 9pm about my holiday in 7 months time?? Asking if I want to sort out car parking & taxi?? ( which is already included) ?? Bit strange if you ask me!

Rang my mobile bust a gut to answer they hung up.
Why don't  they save on calls and reduce their prices ?

this number has rung me every day for the last 5 days, I have answered twice and they have hung up. I do have a Thomson holiday booked for February. Thomson need to get this sorted as it is beginning to annoy me, one more call and I am going to make a complaint.

Again being harassed by calls who don'[t answer and put the phone down on you.
Why?  What the hell!!!

Who allows these people a free call to harass people with no reason - where is the government to protect us from these loonies?

So far in this thread not a single post has mentioned that a complaint has been made to any authority about the calls.    If "government" protection is needed then it can be obtained only once they are made aware of the problem.    If every post on here also said what action people had taken as well as posting on the site, then there would without doubt be action.    Surely there cannot be anyone with a phone who has not yet made themselves aware of how to complain to the relevant authorities?
