i gave my bank account number and BSB number so i am worried will there be any problem guys..

i gave account number and BSB no.will there be any problem,they send me one paper where i ahve to fill my pasport no,account number,signature,and i did so but now i am worried what to do next?help me out guys..

I also received a call from this company about a week ago.  The information has stepped up a bit though as she explained she was doing a quick survey about consumers product purchase.  She advised they were a Hong Kong company doing the survey as they are going to put a store into a Shopping Centre called "Sogo's" the 2 questions were a) how I buy products?  By brand, price or quality and b) Do I prefer to buy Australian made products.  That was all to the survey nothing else.  She advised that because I had participated in the survey I would receive a sony MP4 player which I would receive in the post. (still waiting).  A few days later she rang again and asked if I could attend a launch party in Canberra and when I couldn't she gave me a raffle ticket number.  1 day after the "party", I received a phone call advising me that yes I have won 2nd prize of 400,000HK dollars and asked me to fill out a form and return it to her.  Nothing major, just some personal details. Name, address, telephone, fax etc.  No bank details but requesting a signature....... - a SCAM. I phoned the ACCC and reported this to them as well.  
these people were able to phone me even though I am on the do not call listing.  This should be a initial alert for you. Second Warning - Nobody gives away money for nothing. Unless you have purchased a raffle ticket or have the ticket in your hands.....Hope this helps people.  Good Luck

Yes! same as Smee - I had the same experience. She told Lifestyle international of hongkong starting a new branch at canberra.
      First     - a survey of 3 Q's.
      Next     - Sony MP4 player will be arriving in post - So i gave my full name and address.
      then     - A dinner party at canberra and a raffle ticket and if i cannot go she gives raffle tic num
      Finally  - She told i won the prize by eve i have to resend the filled form scan by email.

Actually my internet was giving me problem and i told her the same. She told the managers will be waiting till 5pm to make decision and as there is time difference to hong kong I have to send it soon.
Her name is CED and 02 6100 3886 is her contact num.   But now got to know it is a SCAM but i gave my details - my full name and address??!!  Nothing will happen with that 'coz they are not my B'date or passport num or bank details.  God will take care.

she told me i won raffle draw 47,000 AUD and she try to help me fill out the form to claim the prize.she gave me a cell no.

guys i do have same question. they said i have won a 48000 aud. first they send me claim form which i have to give all the details next bank details and many more .finally i received a call from hsbc hong kong .they said just to make sure all the details is correct and u will received ur cash into ur a/c. so far everythiing is going well but now bank asking me for fund rosource certificate. first do u have some one in hong kong and bla bla things i said no one then supervisor said she can help me with one of the staff who is in hong kong branch i said thats kind of u. then at the end they r asking me for 6 percentage of my winning money  to get that certificate?where is the first prize winner audi car winner she said she is from perth i asked the no of that lady she wont give it to me . dont know 6 percent is aud 3000 . what to do ? can anyone suggest me i said ok i will transfer to ur a/c she said no cause its illigal to staff and i have to send that money through western union to that account who is in hongkong.i was waiting does anyone get prize from this company pls let me know what to do

Same thing has happened to me. A Filipino female going by the name of Kelly from02-61003887 has rung me to inform me that I have won HKG400,000.00 (second prize in a raffle draw). She then sent me a from by email and asked me to fill it up and return to her or HKG . Then I went to this website and found that it is a big scam going on. Please report this mob to ACCC. Many thanks.

Looks like it a is a fraud and scam and they want your details tu use in their scam.

Hi , do they asked u to pay 2900 aud for fund resource certificate not by the bank transfer by the western unoin?

same thing has happened to me, 2nd prize etc 48k aud.. was actually on the way to open an account so they can transfer the money..but obviously 1 big scam if they want 2900 or 3k to be sent prior to the money being in the account.. why not take 3k out of the money that is owed to me.???
i also just called the company and confronted them that they are gettng me into a scam.. she insisted that i come down to the canberra office and talk to them face to face??? sooo confused...

I have had the same thing only it was a asian woman named CED.. she rang me a week or two back asking if I would do a survey it would take 2 minutes I had to answer 3 questions.. don't ask me what they were as I forget anyway a week later she rang again and said I will recieve a mp3 in the mail for doing the survey with in 10 days... then she asked if I could come to Canberra to a promotion and I said no I can't then she said not to worry as I will have a ticket in the raffle at the promotion night and she would call me back if I win... well last night I won 2nd prize of 400.000.000 HK dollare she called me from a very noisy place and said she was at the promotion and my ticket won 2nd prize, she will call me back today (22nd June 2011) to tell me all about it she did and then she asked me for some form of ID medicare, drivers licence number or libary card number... I gave her my Medicare number as that can't hurt anyone and then she said I will recieve in a email a photo copy of my check and then I had to call her back to make sure the check had the right info on iyt (my name and medicare number as ID)... the first one was wrong but the 2nd one was right oh and she sent me a form to fill out first... this had my ID on it (medicare number) anyway she called me back again and said that their accountant will call me tomorrow to make arraingments about sending the cheque to be... then she will call me again tomorrow after 5 pm to make sure all is right... so what happens now I do not know, I will wait and see if the so called accountant calls me back and if they do and then ask me for bank details then I will have a few choice wpords to say to them.... I will come back on this site and let you know what happens after tomorrow ( 23rd June 2011) oh by the way the copy of the cheque says it is a cheque from the the Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong and it is from Great River Group Holdings LTD they also have the PH of the bank and it is +852 81753633 ..... more to come after I hear from them again

Reply to Sun and these other people asking for info.... PLEASE DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS SUCH AS BSB OR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS... give them a libary card number or medibank number as they can not do anything with that, it is government and the government will soon wake up that someone is using the persons ID if they use that number... (medicare) ... seems like they are after ID rather then money... so maybe they want your ID so someone can get into the country with the info or maybe someone is already in the country illegaly and needs a ID that is legal so they can prove they are a resident of the country... who knows but I will follow this through and find out as much as I can about the scam... I have friends that can help me... will post more news as I find it...but please do not give anyone your personal information such as bank details or BSB numbers.... use a Libary card number...

This person called me back again....I told her that she is a scammer and that I have reported her to ACCC she gave me her business address as level 4 Optus Centre, 10 Moore St, Canberra she said it is not a scam and I said well if it is not a scam then how come there is many people that have had the same phone call from you and Life Style saying the same thing as you told me... the 3 questions, then the MP3 player (that never arrives) and then the promotion night in Canberra then a phone call to say they have won 2nd prize... how can we all win 2nd prize... she said oh no one else has won 2nd prize but you and I said really?... well lady you go and check out this web site (I gave her this website address) and then tell me that I am the only one that has won 2nd prize... I also told her that my phone calls are being recorded and traced by Federal Police and right at this moment they have  recorded traced your call.... as soon as I said that she hung up on me!!! ha ha So people this is a scam PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANYONE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS as they can use them for their own criminal use.... I have not reported them to ACCC as their website is to bloody complicated to understand and I have not had FEDERAL POLICE trace or record my calls but I did send in a email to Today/Tonight about the scam hopefully they will put it to air and warn people of this scam...

My dear friends be careful as I'm receiving phone calls since last week and this lady telling about an Hongkong based organization trying to open a shopping mall here in Australia.. On the very first day she called me and asked about my purchasing behavior,do i prefer branded goods or quality goods. After that day she is been calling every evening  today she just called me and told me about Audi car that i have won... Now after reading all these articles i realized the truth. Let her ring tomorrow I'm going to give her Ferrari

They have even taken more than 50,000 aud from aus in the name of Income tax.Now i m really worried as not a single penny of the prize won arrived.Does anybody got the scan copy of check with the won prize.

HI same thing happened to me as well. this Asian lady from lifestyle international called me the other day and she was doing this survey telling me it takes only 2 minutes. then she told me she will send sony mp3 player after 10 days working days. The next day she called me again and told me my I am eligible to take part in raffle competition and asked me if I could join their party in Perth. I said no I can't. The next day she called me again from noisy background and she told me I won some money prize. Well I think everyone....well i gave her my home address and my mobile number.........I dont whats gonna happen

International Lifestyle has caught me out, with the same modus operandi as they used with others.
I have just found this web site with all the above information and I feel quite ill, after having spent the past fortnight from Monday 4th July until this morning the 15th July, sitting at home waiting for this crowd, to get back to me, about the 2nd prize I have won in the raffle that was held at their promo at Canberra on the 5th July.  The story is the same as the others, answer the few questions, come to canberra for the promo.,of which i said no.  I also have/or had a bad phone connection, so I must have spent 50 dollars or so ringing on my mobile to contact them.   I always wondered why when they rang me, my phone dial showed overseas private all the time.    My case is the worst by far I think, they said to collect the 400.000 hk dollars, I needed to send so much money by Western union transfer to pay the tax to the Hong Kong government to put the money in a new bank account I was asked to open.  I supposedly have some sort of receipt, sent by e mail, also the receipt for the money forwarded to Western Union
.  
Where do I take it from here can anyone advise me.?

ya even same thing happen to me..they call me and did survey and even they ask me to come in canberra when i said i can't even they gave me raffle ticket number and 2 days later kelly rang me and said that i have won the 2nd prize as 4,00,000 hk $ and told me to fill the form i fill of the form and agian she said that i ll get call from her supervisor.  i got the call from hang sen bank and they said that i have to show fund resources certificate and i call to supervisoe her name was veroniqua and she asked whether i got accountant at hk when i said no then she suggest me her accountant friend and when i said its ok then she again call me n said that she had talked with his accountant friend and said that i have to send 29200 approximately 3000 AUS$ to get the certificate.i haven't send her money.then i gave all details of lifestyle in hk to my brother he lives there even i forward the cash cheque and form.he went to bank and the bank people said they can't tell without having a original cash cheque and the number in the cheque was not bank contact number..so i m so confused i donno wht to do..can somebody give me suggestion.i asked hk address too and when i askes the contact number of this company then she became angry and said that she can't give any information..please jus let me know had any one get the prize?
