I got a call from this number saying they are from Australian taxation office. They requested me to call back at this number. They also mentioned that I am to get AUD 7200 as tax refund from Australian taxation office.

The guys mentioned their name as Manjeet and James Foster.

Sounds like a scam.  The ATO only communicate in writing.

Yes its a scam- I just got a call from the same number same person Steven Foster

This is a potential scam from someone saying you got a refund of 7200 from ATO Canberra and that your name happened to have been 'selected'
I'm from inner west - just wondering if they operate within the area !!

Guys !! Its a scam. I lost $900. I was told the same information that they are calling from ATO on some refunds.

I got a call from this number as well telling me to call on the same nuber to get $7242 tax refund from ATO. only odd thing... Mr steven foster was insisting me to call back immediately.

It is scam, I have called back on give number... so called Mr. Steven Foster picked up the call.... after few difficult questions he disconnected...

my wife gota call and same name and same refunds they talked about refund from ATO..looks like indian or pakistani guys as i could pick up from their accent

i got a same call from same guy, steven foster and ranbir indian punajabi.scam

I also received a call from the same phone number. I called the ATO to verify the same phone number and they said it’s a spam. Lucky I did not give them any information.

I had a threatening message telling me I would be arrested
